Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:

As a psychologist, author and developer of survey research, I am interested in contributing my skills.
Most important of these is a complementary plan,
and I repeat the word 'plan,' that will have us
independent of Persian Gulf oil ten years sooner than Mr. Pickens plan, while not eliminating in any respect the need for the solutions he is pursuing.
Hopefully I will be able to present it to Mr. Pickens during his stay in Lamar. If not, we will continue to have high energy prices until I am able to do so.

What excites you about this campaign?

The fact that Mr. Pickens is willing to do these town hall meetings, such as the one in Lamar.
There is simply no substitute for accessing the
knowledge, wisdom, and problem solving ability
of 'ordinary citizens' who may or may not have
the 'pulpit' or 'the portfolio' usually expected of
our nation's 'experts.'

What do you want to do to help?

Well, I am willing to travel all the way from Denver to Lamar to meet with Mr. Pickens and personally
describe the plan that will have the same effect as
his, only ten years sooner. Having recently shared it with the CEO of a major energy company, I am
hardly an unknown quantity. But not having quite the name recognition of Brittney Spears, I fully recognize that the biggest challenge to our energy independence is not the lack of an ability to achieve it, but rather an inability of gatekeepers to realize the answers may come from one who is a relative unknown to the national media.

So it is the choice of the PickensTeam: If I am able to present my plan to him, we will have gasoline at less than $3/gal by the election. If i'm unable to share it with him, why then our cost of energy will remain high, and our national security at risk.

The choice is up to the gatekeepers. But don't maintain the illusion that Mr. Pickens is the only one with a plan. I have a plan and it is the equal of his because it accomplishes his goals immediately.
