Last year I helped so many members of Pickens Plan learn about personal home energy plans. It's all about conservation of power, and home power generation, things I have been doing at my residence to lower my electricity costs. Send me a friend request a to add me Dustyn, I'd be honored to have you as a friend here.
BTW, Texas: I just posted an article link on my pickens page about Home Wind Systems in Texas. Your state's representatives, governor, and public utility commission officials are not in your corner with this "weak policy" on Net Metering. Instead they have the tables turned against green power for businesses and homeowners. Texas has created multiple sets of rules for loopholes and you have less rights than people in other states. You should read that article, important.

When will we ever have a chance like this again to become energy independant before we give this country away?
Our new Congress is sworn in less than 10 days from now - they must be told loudly and clearly that we demand action to reduce our dependance on foreign oil!
WE CAN DO THIS. We need your help. THERE IS NO INFLUENCE WITHOUT NUMBERS!

I simply say, "I am collecting supporters fro T Boone PIckens plan to get us off foreign oil and onto American solutions." VERY few have said no. We just need to getout there an do it! FAST.

Time is of the essence. In less than 2 weeks, our new Congress will be sworn in. Only the threat of political suicide will keep them focused on the job of getting us independent from foreign oil! The only way to accomplish this is with sheer numbers - THERE IS NO INFLUENCE WITHOUT NUMBERS.

- Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
- Research only at this point as far as alternative energy, but I've been using what's in this country (especially in Texas) considered alternative transportation. I own a couple motorcycles that I use as my primary form of transportation, but I do have a very small car too that I'm trying to convert to CNV right now. I live near my work, and take advantage of the public transportation system when I can.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- It's a step in the right direction, and we have to start somewhere.
- What do you want to do to help?
- I want to help people understand that no single raindrop wants to take the blame for the flood. Each person that buys a 9 passenger vehicle because they want to feel safe instead of learning how to drive is contributing to this flood. We've gotten ourselves into this situation, now we need to get ourselves out of it. It took years to get here, and it'll take years to get out of it, but we have to start some time.
