Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
My electric bill at my house hit $1,200 per month. I flew to Amsterdam, and negotiated an agreement to distribute wind turbines. Our company, WIND INC., now has everything from $5,000 single family units to $2,000,000 mega watt units. If you would llike to see photos of them, look in the products list of: www.environment-solutions.com
What excites you about this campaign?
We believe in Wind Energy and appreciate Mr. Picken's work in this regard.
What do you want to do to help?
Distributed as many wind turbines as we can.

NEW WIND TURBINE START UP IN TEXAS!

WIND INC was covered in over 40 newspapers this week when it announced a new start up with Wind Turbines from 1 kw to 2 MEGA WATTs, with the largest ability to deliver turbines in the USA. "While GE and others report 5 years to deliver mega watt units, we can deliver up to 65 in 90 days." said Ben B Boothe Sr , Chairman.

We respect T Boone and he has leased land from us and drilled oil on our land in years past. We believe in what he is doing and are supporting him by starting this new business… Continue

Hello, I was reading your page and I thought I would ask you a question or two. When the pickens plan started I asked how we could combine the larger windmills while integrating solar in them as well. almost like hitting two birds with one stone. If we can figure out a way to do this then I believe if nothing else it can make energy cheaper during peak usage times (which is usually while the sun is up). Wind farms take up a lot of area and that erea usually gets quite a bit of sun as well. If done correctly then maybe we could get the same energy in less area. I need to know the disadvantages of this idea before I can go on and I thought perhaps you could enlighten me. I brought this idea up to others around 9 months or so ago and havent recieved much back on it. thank you for your time

Ben, visiting your business site, I was reading your recent posts. I came across your entry on metal roofs. I too installed a metal roof and had excellent results re power conservation but felt I had to take you to task on your comment about metal and composite shingle being about the same price. Metal roofing is far more costly than composite roofing. Shingle roofs go on very fast with power nailers and minimal skilled (low cost) labor. Metal roofs also jump dramatically in cost as the complexity of roof geometry increases as hip or multiple gable roofs generate much waste in the form of cut off material that is not properly oriented to use on any other section of the roof deck. I would have loved to have had a metal roof on my new home but being all hip, the numbers did not support metal over shingle. In cases like mine, a composite shingle roof with radiant barrier insulation is much more cost effective. As for durability, I'm afraid all metal roofs get painted with the same brush. Standing seam and other self-overlapping panels with concealed fasteners are a true lifetime roof but are more suited for premium home construction due to very high price. From the picture you posted of your house, I've deduced your roof is like mine with gasketed screw fasteners. After several years you have a maintenance issue as the screw need periodic tightening and sealing. I still like the metal roof on my older home but have found the radiant barrier to be almost as effective without the screw maintenance issue. Gary

mr booth, i would love a demostrator in my backyard for one year to see if a residential unit would work in the western north carolina foothills (28043). i am semi-retired and would like to do something such as selling a product as unique and needed as small wind energy turbines. have you seen the windspire by mariah power ? i hope to hear from you. i think i could make a windmill unveiling a big press and political event. thank you tommy

Done in the interest of weight and efficiency. Well, consider how narrow the wing of a hummingbird is. These work very well.
Check out> www.environment-solutions.com for specifications. Ben

Dear Wind Inc.

Why do you make your wind turbines so narrow; as opposed to the original Wind Mills of Holland with very wide blades on the Wind Mill;

how can a narrow wind turbine "catch wind ? A.
