Boone's Ed Board Visits Bear Fruit...

Over the last several months, Boone has had some great meetings with editorial boards across the country. And the results have been well worth the effort.

Following are some excerpts from what is being written about the Pickens Plan on the editorial pages of some of the most influential newspapers in the United States. We’re making really good progress. Click here to visit our blog, Daily Pickens, to view more in-depth coverage of what editors, elected officials and members of the Army are sayi… Continue

August Recess

Good Afternoon!

We are smack dab right in the middle of August Recess. Members of Congress (MOC) are back in their districts, holding events and Town Hall meetings. This is our time to shine army! While the majority of the current Town Hall meetings are focusing on Health Care, other issues are covered as well. I would encourage you to attend your MOC Town Hall and ask them a few quick questions:

1. What is your plan to end our dependence on foreign oil?
2. If you don’t have a plan, do you sup… Continue

Pickens Plan Still Kickin’ – Newsweek – 8/5/09

By Matthew Philips

T. Boone Pickens is a bit ornery these days. Not that this isn't his normal disposition. The legendary oilman didn't build a net worth of $3 billion and become one of the most ruthless corporate raiders of the 1980s by being agreeable. But Pickens's recent consternation is understandably a little more intense than usual. A year after he unveiled his $10 billion bid to save America by planting wind turbines up and down the Midwest, thereby helping wean us off some of the $475… Continue

Pickens Tilts for Windmills
Energy Crusader Pickens Sees Natural Gas as Transition Fuel
Washington Times – 7/20/09
By John P. Krudy

Texas oilman T. Boone Pickens is a surprising convert to alternative energy and an unlikely wind-power proselytizer, but he is ramping up his campaign to cure the nation's energy dependence in the face of skeptics who say the effort is too ambitious.

Worried by the massive transfer of wealth to foreign and often unfriendly nations, the Texan last July proposed the… Continue

Boone Has Been Busy Working for Energy Independence...We Need YOU to Get Busy Too!!

It's been a jam packed few weeks and we wanted to let you know how successful the Pickens Plan Anniversary roll out was and thank you again for your help.

Beginning last Tuesday morning at 8AM, Boone participated in media interviews, Capitol Hill events and Army meetings for 48 hours straight, including the introduction of the Senate version of the NAT GAS Act (S. 1408). In a joint press conference with Majority Leader Harry Reid and Senators Orrin Hatch and Robert Menendez, the companion bill… Continue

Ed,
I'm in Maryland. I'm not a big one on calling people and things like that. But I have a good deal of computer skill. I'm willing to put time in assisting "the Pickens Plan" with the skills I have. I just need to know what to do.

Ed,

Marty Gabler here. Make sure to mention to T. Boone Pickens when you see him Friday to take a hard look at the Virginia Eastern shore bayside for the most productive sites for east coast land-based wind farms. In particular, the bayside of northern Accomac County is a hot spot according to NREL wind data due to the width of the Chesapeake bay at this point. Imagine productive wind farms within 50 miles of Washington, DC! The land is flat, inexpensive and rural. Large wind farm developers are already making inquiries in this area. I should know since i've personally had preliminary discussions with two of them on situating a wind farm on my northern Accomac County bayside property. The economy has slowed the process but T. Boone Pickens is just the person lend credibility to such an effort. I'd come to College Park myself to push for this but my job keeps me from attending. Good luck.

McCutcheon Marshall offers a great opportunity to help solve in reducing the large inventory of 667 wind turbines and putting them to work. Creativity of different avenues for financing is a very workable. Once you start moving the turbines and putting them to work more will want to be part of the plan. We must take advantage of the times right now, you know this energy business, “it cycles” we must act now. “Lead, follow or get out of the way”

Ed,
I am interested in purchasing/leasing one hundred (100) wind turbines. See if this could be included in the first shipment from the manufacturer (is 2010 correct?). Please direct me to the appropriate person.
Thanks,
Mack

Hi Ed,My name is Sam Pruitt from NC.I am writting to ask if you could check into and help stamp out a scam penny stock company using green energy to sell shares of their stock.Just this past week they put out a press release making it seem that they would be building a wind farm in Colorado. The company is Blue Diamond Ventures.

For the last 3 years or so they have been claiming to be in biodeisel. They have issued one press release after another claiming to be building bio plants in Belize. Then saying they were buying a plant in LA.All lies. The ceo of the company lives in a small apartment in Houston. They do not have an office. They phone number they list is an answering service. No calls from shareholders are ever answered.A few shareholders got his cell phone number. The ceos name is John Quincey Moaning. If you call his cell phone and ask is he the ceo of Blue Diamond Ventures he hangs up.I just want to getr the word out on this parasite.bldv has never did one thing except sell stock. They have no employeees.Nothing.I just feel that they need to be stopped .People like this just hurt the cause for wind energy and other green energy. My email is sampruitt2000@yahoo.com.I will be glad to give info about the scam cammpany.

I am unsure of what an LTE is and I would encourage people to read the act first. Nothing against it, but if I'm going to stand behind something I want to know what it says.
