- No personal experience yet. (I suppose due to lack of Bush's action to seriously invest in alternatives development as he promised on TV. No wonder people call him LIAR BUSH). I believe Obama is a great hope in the future on this subject.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- I.m in the trucking business and it absolutely devastates me seeing the smog effect in the western mountains getting worse every year while traveling on business there. It is getting more difficult to breathe poor air quality as the oxygen is virtually replaced by CO2 and smoggy clouds hanging over the mountains therefore I am excited about this plan because I want to stay in this business, contribute to the economy but at the same time run a heavy truck on clean energy(once such energy becomes available) and as an immigrant from eastern europe be able to truly call this country "America, THE BEAUTIFUL" since I can't say that about the air quality. I'd rather see wind towers on hills than smell refineries especially in the Houston area.
- What do you want to do to help?
- I will invest my hard earned money in my next vehicle that will run on clean energy (whether it be hydrogen, electricity, natural gas, etc.), even if such vehicle is more expensive.

$700 BILLION PER YEAR
We are transferring $700 billion each year, 7 trillion in the next 10 years, to unstable and antagonistic regimes. Americans are angry and ready as never before, to take dramatic steps to reduce our dependence on foreign oil. A plan to replace foreign oil with American solutions has appeared on the horizon, we intend to help Pickens turn this hope into reality- energy independance for our country.
SHARE THE PLAN
with your circle of friends, family and associates. Urge them to JOIN. From your own experience you know it is very much like simply signing a petition. The larger our membership the more likely we will be successful in getting Congress to provide effective incentives for alternative and renewable energies and in insuring that our future president will treat energy independence as a matter of the greatest urgency, applying the same kind of leadership as JFK exercised when he led us with his stirring challenge to put a man on the moon in 10 years.
THERE IS NO TIME TO DELAY
…to wait and see…or to see if someone else will step up to the plate. It is time for US to roll up our sleeves and go to work. Right now momentum is working in our favor, but if gas prices retreat, the public will forget the pain, and our moment may be lost. How frightening to think that we could be looking back and apologizing to our children that we chose not to get this done when we had the chance.

PERSONAL ACTION OPTIONS
We need to do more than “preach to the choir”. Sharing ideas with each other is encouraging but that will not 1) increase our membership nor 2) influence public policy. If you know someone in the press or someone who blogs - get them to cover this. Write to your Congressman/woman. Ask those in the public eye to support this plan. Print downloadable flyers and put them in your car and/or business window.
YOU MAY FEEL INSIGNIFICANT
Individually, we each feel the same way, but together we will lay the foundation for a stronger, more prosperous and more secure America. Thanks again for joining us in this historical effort!
