I don't know what I can do, but I do want to stay informed so that I can help whenever possible.

Thank your for the heads up on the spelling. I looked the spelling up in the phone book and then transposed the typing. A serious goof and maybe the reason she hasn't responded to my request.

Thanks again

Elizabeth, I need your help in contacting the Sacramento Bee. My inquiry to get them to support the PickensPlan has to date been unsuccessful. So, any help your could muster would be appreciated.

You can find copies of my inquiry to the Bee, and my letters to our US House of Representatives Matusi and Senator Boxer on the CA-5 www page. I will post a letter to Senator Feinstein tomorrow.

Questions give me a call 427-8913 or e-mail me at jjoux@aol.com

Hello, Elizabeth, thanks for volunteering. I am the recently delegated District CA-5 leader/coordinator. I will post a request tomorrow for a meeting with our CA-5 Congresswoman Doris Matsui. Fortunatly for my family and unfortunately for contacting each of the CA-5 volunteeres my family and I department Sacramento early Monday for the Holidays in Colorado and won't be back until January 1.

I will post my letter to Matsui on my PP page. I would encourage you to write, in your own words, a letter to Matusi requesting that she sign on as a Congressional advocate of the PP and become a vocal advocate in Washington. The more PP volunteers we can solicit and commit to writing Matusi, Boxer and Feinstein the better our odds of getting them to become vocal, Congressional advocates in DC.

Thanks for volunteering.m I will be in limited contact from Colorado and accellerate my coordination after Jan 1.

Regards, Merry Christmas and Happy, Prosperous New Year.

Hi Elizabeth,

Welcome and THANK YOU for joining the Pickens Plan. I just wanted to let you know that a real person out here appreciates you taking that first step.

After you've had a chance to settle in, please let me know if there's anything I can do to guide your path. The basic first steps are reviewing the current topics in the Forum, and when you are comfortable, letting others know about the website. The people here are interested in making the plan a success and those you invite should be able to see for themselves that this is the right place to be.

Here are further steps you might consider.

- Sign up to lead or help on the District page.
- Visit the My Energy page and get involved.
- Work your contacts to increase press coverage.
- Write to congressional representatives directly.
- Use Pickens Action buttons or call (202)225-3121.
- Speak out for ending our dependence on foreign oil.
- Write letters to the editor of your local paper.
- Download flyers/etc from here or here.
- Download the Petition and ask others to sign it.
- Start a company to build wind turbines/solar panels.
- Start a financing firm to invest in those companies.
- Tell everyone you know about PickensPlan.com.

Decide for yourself what you can do, but definitely do something.

Welcome once again, Happy Holidays and thanks for signing up.

Clynton
