I am both pleased and curious as to why I had 15 invitations today from various groups to join them. I do not believe that I am that popular. It must be a flurry of activity driven by the frustration that every one is feeling about how the economi...

Oh my goodness, today was crazy! Today I was able to devote the entire day to Picken's Plan efforts! Although I contacted my state senators, Senator Isakson (R) and Senator Chambliss (R), it wasn't enough for me! I turned to the House of Representative's Committee on Energy and Commerce and the Senate's Committee on Energy and Natural Reasources! A sucessful day it was, as I am working toward scheduling a meeting with 3 chairman, Congressman Dingle, Senator Bingaman, and Senator Dorgan.

If I didn't already try to defy the laws of man, I shot for an even larger goal, the U.S. Department of Energy. I decided to try and contact the Seceratary of Energy! Wish me Luck! :)

October 6th, 2008:
Today was a great, influencial day in Georgia's 6th District Congressman Tom Price's Office. I had scheduled an interview with him today, and at 5:30 it became a reality! This is exactly what the Picken's Plan needs, and hopefully we can recuit another signature on our pledge, joining Georgia's 1th District Congressman Jack Kingston's signature!

I encourage everyone to go after their public officals in Washington, because if you want the Picken's Plan, it's up to YOU to get it!

Hey Eric

The only way to insure the success of this historical effort is to build our numbers to monumental and unignorable heights. CAN YOU HELP?

Eric,

You are quite a young man! I am impressed at your understanding of what your parents and the rest of us are going through economically and instead of pouting or rebelling or complaining, you are eager to help do something to help them and all of us! Now that is commendable! Your parents should be very proud of you.

I appreciate the invitation. I also do quite a bit of volunteer work on a local basis through our local Regional Assn. of Realtors to make sure the politicians in NC know where I stand on the Pickens Plan and many of the pressing issues including the tremendous economic and personal toll the loss of lives in the war has caused our children, husbands, daughters, wives, friends and neighbors and their families both personally and financially. It is not only affecting us now, but like all the other wars in history, will continue to effect all the generations to come for many, many years. The Pickens Plan you have joined is just one of the many important programs young people must be made aware of and what the consequences of inaction on their parts will cause. As your generation gets older the backlash from the last eight years will hit you like the cosmic boom that hit our generation in the late eighties. Our parents had been through the great depression and we were the Baby Boomers. We had ideals and an appreciation for economic growth and what money could provide that we all worked hard while the times were good to save for our futures. Then the stock market crashed in the eighties and we had a recession that scared us all to death! Thank God it only lasted a short while before the economy turned around and things started to grow again. Many of us lost a lot in the stock market, but regained our confidence in the 90's. We got somewhat careless in our investing and in the stock markets again. Then 9-11 hit us between the eyes when we were all on top of the world!! Bam!! Another two/three years of chaios! When will we as a nation learn? When things are going great, we walk around with blinders on living unconsciously in the sunshine of our lives. Then, when tragedy strikes, we are like the deer in headlights wondering what happened. Shame on us! Shame on all of us who stuck our heads in the sand and pretended everything was ok. It must be ok, we are not in a recession or a depression was the way we thought. All the while all these huge problems were rearing their heads and roaring at us and we just pretended like it was ok. NOT!!! We must start paying attention to who is running our country and what they are doing. We are putting these people in their offices for goodness sakes. We don't know anything about their political foundations and beliefs and we just vote them in!! They look nice, or talk a good speech and we walk around with rose colored glasses on completely deaf to the real issues and making sure we get the right people in offices that will take care of us not just now, but for future generations to come.
Eric, that is where I would like to see you! You are at an awesome time in your life and with your personality, common sense and ability to discern what is going on and what the real issues are, you should start a Green Generation Campaign to educate and initiate support from your entire generation NOW!!! You will all be able to vote someday soon and YOU are the hope of our nation and the world!!! I would say God has chosen you to accomplish His mission to get the word out that there is hope and start to use your brilliant young minds to help get the word out to your generation as to what needs to be done to turn this ecological, economical, political mess around. It is possible! There are millions of very smart people in this country that have ideas and plans that most of us have never even heard or thought of before. The first thing would be to find those people, the economic geniuses of our nation and pick their brains, put it all in a database MindTrust and let some computer program analyze it all and give us the best actions to accomplish independence from foreign oil, a strategy to end the war and bring our families home, a way to stop the global warming that is potentially threatening the survival of our civilization as we know it, and many other global issues.

My point in this very long winded email is to cheer your efforts Eric and let you know I will do anything I can to help.

You make me weak! To think that someone at your age is so wise beyond your years is refreshing and reassuring of our next generation coming up now. Just remember Eric, we are called to serve freely and without drawing attention to ourselves. That is what happens to a lot of politicians I know. They start out doing the work for the good of the people and the recognition and attention goes to their head and the next thing you know, they are POLITICIANS in the worst sense of that word. Don't expect anything from what you give and only give freely from your heart. Always follow your heart but listen to your mind to make intelligent decisions first.

I once heard myself saying "If only someone would do something about........". Then I realized I AM SOMEONE!!! (I read this somewhere and have never forgotten it!) It is ultimately up to YOU!

Take care and let me know how things are progressing.

The Price for Our Freedom?

Yes I know that the first thing that comes to your mind is billions of dollars of our taxes. Your right, taxes do pay for our freedom in a large part. Our taxes pay for our military and all that entails. But, what about our service men and women? Many of them are fresh out of high school. Many have lost their lives, wounded, maimed, physiologically scarred for life. The purpose of this letter is not to talk about the tragedies of war or the many injustices that occur within the military system. I’m sure you know someone, perhaps dear to you, or know someone who knew someone that was killed, wounded or have been through the runaround military red tape nightmare. My intention and focus is to discuss what one gentleman is doing for our service men and women in Phoenix, AZ.

Gary Tennant, CEO of Private Coach Limos volunteers his time and the services of his limos to pick up returning veterans at the airport and take them home in style, giving them special VIP treatment.

When I read about what Gary was doing I just had to pick up the phone and call him. I knew here was someone with a huge heart. After talking with him for several minutes my feelings about his heart and generosity were confirmed. I also thought of what I could do to give something back to those who have risked their lives to protect my freedom. I came up with the idea that I would print a few dozen Gift Certificates entitling the bearer to a complementary session. Gary could present them to our soldiers when he picks them up. Gary was also offered gift baskets to give to the soldiers he picks up from the airport. I know that most Chiropractors would be willing to give something like this back to our service men and women. Maybe you have a better idea. Whatever the case, let’s start something big. Let’s not limit it to Phoenix, AZ. Let’s get the whole chiropractic profession involved.

You can contact me directly at 915-383-CARE (2273), email at drcmgonzalez50@yahoo.com or Gary Tennant at 602-653-9340 or email him at gary@privatecoachlimos.com.

Profile Information

Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Yes
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
My name is Eric, and I am a 13 year old Republician Activist. I wish to have a future in our nations government and politics, and I believe if our great nation wants a future, importing foreign oil must be put to a halt. My mother and father are traditional American business owners and wish only for the best for their company, children, and expecially their country! They are in a tremedous debt due to the increasing oil prices set by OPEC, and the rich oil producing countries. Pickens Plan is the way to go!
What excites you about this campaign?
This campaign is a way to fight back, a way to save almost $700 billion. Now imagine what our country could do with $700 billion, fight terrorism, stop illegal immigrents, or even help support the "American Dream" for so many loyal american citizens! This could set the future for our Great Country!
What do you want to do to help?
Anything needed.
-Campaign for Pickens Plan in my local community!
-Talk to my local government and talk to my state representatives about supporting Pickens Plan.
-Become a Pickens Plan organizer in my area.
-Make petitions for Pickens Plan.
-Talk to Mr.Pickens about my future in our nations government and politics.
-Become a website administrator if needed.
-Get support from teenagers, the future of our nation.
-And anything else needed!
