Maybe--But Not Sure What to Organize

Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:

I have a B.S. in architecture. In studying and working in the field, I have studied and learned to incorporate certain aspects of alternative energy into designs. I have taken several LEED Masters courses in the subject and recognize the significance alternative energy (including passive design) can have on a society. I am currently doing community develop work in small town rural Western North Carolina and see how grassroots initiatives create systematic change form the ground up, making meaning and everlasting effects.

What excites you about this campaign?

The prospect of redeveloping the way we think about the system of energy and government. I have always been for alternative energy in the practical uses of our modern society. The attraction I have to this campaign is the focus on the capatilist nature of the United States. The reliance is not on our government to take the initiative, but it is on private business, the public, and small businesses to be proactive. the only thing we are looking for the government to do is to step aside, allow for the progress to take place, and provide the stage for change with initiatives and support rather than impedments

What do you want to do to help?

If given further information and connections within the campaign, I could reach out to the architectural field, governmental field, and small towns as an advocate. I would be willing to go as far as becoming hands on in the process as much as possible.
