Yes
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
I work for Solar Source, a company in Largo, Fl. We install and service solar domestic hot water systems, pool systems, attic vents, and photovoltaic systems in six surrounding counties. We also offer classes, workshops and training through our very own; Solar Source University. I've been with the company going on two years now and I am very proud to be a part of the fast growing Solar Source team.

Please check out: www.solarsource.net

I'm also a member of the steering committee for "FARE". The Florida Alliance for Renewable Energy is a coalition of concerned individuals, businesses, communities, associations, policy makers, non-profits, and renewable energy producers. FARE is dedicated to educating and engaging Floridians on Renewable Energy Dividends. RED's have proven to be the most wide-spread and effective legislation for the promotion of renewable energy. Support FARE today and help secure a future for Florida that includes job creation, energy independence and environmental stewardship.

Please visit: www.FAREnergy.org and register for our Tallahassee Lobby Day on March 24, 2009. Transportaion to and from the event is available in your nearest metro area compliments of FARE.
What excites you about this campaign?
It's not just this campaign it's also the rapid growth of solar and alternative energy and the fact that I am part of one of the greatest movements in history.
What do you want to do to help?
Everything and anything. I love informing people about the alternative ways to save the planet and their money in the meantime. I would also like to inform people of RED's (Renewable Energy Dividends / Feed-In-Tariffs) and how necessary they are in order to make our nation a solar nation. Other countries, Germany especially, have been doing this for years. We must adopt FARE policies now!

Please visit www.FAREnergy.org to learn more and show your support for FARE & Renewable Energy Dividends.

Thanks for joining the ROUND-UP.
Please add a comment about this early education concept at the site. It's an idea in formation and everyone's input is sought and welcome.

Now that you've taken the plunge remember it's all about the volume of our voice in DC which is in direct proportion to our numbers. Spread the PICKENS PLAN word to as many in your network of friends, family and colleagues as possible. Join your local CONGESSIONAL DSTRICT GROUP and volunteer to lead or co-lead. Our experience in NJ is that having a partner in the process makes it easier, more affective and if you’re lucky enough as we have been to find the right person, way more fun!

We’re very happy to have you with us. With you along, and 1.4 million others, maybe we’ll actually get this thing done. Keep you horse watered and your powder dry, it's going to be a long dusty ride.

Regards,
Jack Costantino

I just read on the sight that you reccomended allianceforrenewableenergy.org
The Information on REPs is extremely intersting. So in other countries Germany, Denmark for example Indiviuals can get paid for producing electricity they do not use? If I understand that right what a great incentive for Americans to want to support Alternative Energy
Is there a downside to this

I would like to support this group. Are you not for profit? I grew up in Florida, and can't wait to return to it. I support the Everglades (efforts to put it back the way it was before the Intercostal ruined everything.)

Faye - My son's name is Taye

I wanted to tell you that is impressive to see a young person so active in green issues. I'm 42 years old. Question: Are your friends as active as you are? My belief is that it will be your generation that makes the changes we need. My generation is not as strong on the issues but I feel we will be of much help. Also what program are you using to manipulate your photograph in the different colors? I'm a self thought graphic designer, but as you know your age group (my kids included) pick up computer skills at an alarming rate. I’m also interested in your fonts. I lead the design team for http://www.FloydMagazine.com and I just wanted to tell you that if you have not thought about a career in graphic design you should.
