Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Maybe--But Not Sure What to Organize
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
I don't have much experience with renewable methods of energy, however I worked in the oil & gas Industry in the 1970s and have experience in various instrumentation fields, in a sales capacity, some of which revolved around the geothermal fields in Northern California. The concepts of alternative energy processes are not totally foreign to me, but I have much more to learn and understand.
What excites you about this campaign?
Firstly, the organization is astounding. Secondly, and I'm preaching to the choir here, we need to get off of our oil habit. It has been talked about, for so long (since the oil "shocks" in the '70s), but our government, coupled with Big Oil, has refused to do anything about it. It's time for that to change. After a day of membership and exploring this website, I can see that the possibilities are endless. But, as with anything web-based, people will have to get out from behind their computers and do the "grunt work".
What do you want to do to help?
I'm not sure, yet, but will refine my objectives as I become more familiar with this program.

Thought you might be interested in the Idaho National Laboratory facebook site. We do a lot of energy research including wind, nuclear, solar, natural gas, etc. http://www.facebook.com/idahonationallaboratory
Welcome to the Virginia 11th District page. The growing PickensPlan Army is so essential to finally getting this country on the road to energy independence. Our Virtual March will keep our Congress focused upon this goal despite all the other issues they have to contend with.
