- Air Power Systems (APS) have created a simple yet revolutionary product that will dramatically alter the small wind energy market. There is nothing like our product on the market today, the design is simple in concept and simple to produce plus very cost affective with a short ROI. We will create and capture new markets and set a new industry standard as the leader in energy independence at multiple levels in the consumer and utility markets.
Our design is patent-pending in the US and international as well. Our prototype is installed as a portable generator (attached on a boom truck, we replaced the bucket with our turbine and a 3 kW + low RPM generator) and functioning at expected levels, the system is rotating at 2.7 mph with cut-in around 3 mph. At 4 mph wind speed the system is producing energy at 50% capacity.
We believe our wind turbine will have tremendous benefit for our environment, the community as well as our customers nation and world wide. We will create at least 21 new workplaces at start. As we grow this number of employees will go up.

- I belief that we are past the point that we can stay back and watch what's going on with our planet earth and we got to do something NOW that our children and grandchildren and there grandchildren can still live on this planet without getting hurt.

I live in a very small country in Europe, Portugal, and one that spend more in solar energy. We got one of the largest solar panel area in Europe, so we are trying to get in the front of the battle and win for the poluent energies that we consume. But if you Americans get there first please share your knowledge so we can follow and clean OUR HOME.
I already saw your web page and get really good impression. You got a real nice and fantastic idea. I support you with all my strength.

We arrange guest speakers from the energy industry and political figures from every level of government. For our meeting on August 13th we have "David Gammon" from Progress Energy's Renewable Energy Contracts department and on the following month we have booked "Mark Sharpe" of the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners.
