- My family's business is oil and gass exploration, in Michigan. My father was a great oilman and many of our wells are natural gas wells. I remember the bust in the oil business, I remember having to cap all of our wells and now the US can see the result of becoming dependent somewhere else, when we have the resources right here at home! Pure dependency on foreign oil, impossible to drill with all the rules and regs here by the environmentalists has to change.
I also believe in wind power, it's a great alternative energy and perfect natural resource, without harming the environment!
- What excites you about this campaign?
- Mr. Picken's plan to use natural gas for transportation and wind energy for power is brilliant but will have to be pushed on both sides of the aisel, I would like to be part of that move.
- What do you want to do to help?
- Whatever I can, my democrat friends finally realize what the cost has been to the by becoming dependent on foreign oil, I've been preaching it for years. We have the resources right here but that's what the government didn't want them to know!
