Welcome to being a WA St. Leader!Sorry about the prior letter but I'm trying to ferret out a creep salesman who is hurting our membership amongst new people. If there is any way I can assist you in helping your group grow, do not hesitate to ask as I've got as letter and a way to search the membership by cities and towns in your district. Being an ex-Seattleite, I know the srate like the back of my hand. I was a service-rep for a national corperation and my service area took me all over the state. I don't know how many of you have been troubled by a certain Pickens Plan member, Windenergy7, a salesman who greets new members with a sales pitch usually before we, or an official Pickens Plan greeter can welcome them into the Pickens Plan Army
If you’ve encountered this “person” or have heard complaints of such ilk, please raise your complaints to all Regional Leaders as this “shyster” is playing havoc in my group and very few of the new people he greets first will join our group!

Featuring discussions on Feed in Tariffs, Net Metering, Rebates, and Gainesville, FL., the first municipality in the United States to introduce a Feed in Tariff policy.

The focus of the conference is the deployment of renewable energy in Florida resulting in jobs and energy security. Experts from around the world and participants from various stakeholder organizations will discuss policies to stimulate vast investment in renewable energy to increase energy security and job creation in Florida. Building on Governor Crist’s vision of 20% renewables by 2020, this event will provide first hand experiences from Florida, other states and European countries on what policies are most effective in achieving renewable targets.
Solar on every rooftop!Panels will include:
· ‘Lessons from Europe and US States’ – Deployment of successful renewable policies.
· Costs vs. Benefits – The potential opportunity if policies are right.
· What energy policies will drive the market and bring jobs to Florida?
· Florida based implementation.

· Explore green jobs and long term investments.
· Discuss Renewable Energy Payments, also known as Feed in Tariffs, regarding their significant potential to address climate change, create new jobs and support the renewable energy industry

· Strengthen and Support legislative initiatives in Florida.

We are a voluntary community of individuals who are placing our combined support behind T. Boone Pickens and his efforts to send our government a clear (heard) message that we must reduce our nation’s dependence on foreign oil through the use of all domestic energy alternatives. This site is a place to interact with fellow Pickens Plan supporters, keep up with events and opportunities to help get more involvement.

There is a group for almost everything. The Forums/discussions on this site are many and you’ll probably find something that interests or concerns you. Some are very long and were started months ago. For the ones that concern you, please keep in mind, events are remembered and relayed differently by those commenting, which as we all too well know equals at least three sides to the event.
After you have read the sites I mentioned, if you need anything else to help you, while you help the push, please stop by. I am proud to put my efforts towards this cause.
