Glad you asked! Boone has just this week rolled out a Congressional Push for supporters. Because Obama has said that he wants to be 100% off Middle Eastern oil in 10 years, Boone wants to make our group as big as we can in every district in the country. He wants ALL of Congress to understand that the American people are squarley behind this initiative.
Grass roots is the only way for a true revolution. Can you help by gathering some signatures in your area fast? Check in with your area organizer to see who the leader is in your district.

There are some things that involve true science, that is translated into useful technology, and others of trivial value. The present method of using propellers is inefficient. A 10 foot by 10foot square opening in a funnel going to a 2 inch by 6 inch opening can increase a 7 miles per hour wind to 70 miles per hour on the small end. If you put that small end in front of a turbine, the output will be at least five times what a similar sized propeller would provide. Larger funnels would power the existing steam turbines without need of steam energy and cool water to cool the turbines. This will be the future of wind energy, whether I live to see it or not. For example, the hang gliders you see people use in La Jolla is an invention 290 years old. Emmanuel Swedenborg invented and tested it in 1718. We don't have the luxury of waiting a few hundred years to build this type of design. If I can't get a fair hearing here I'll just write a paper and distribute it to people who are more amenable to new ways of thinking. Most of the major innovations in the world were made by individuals. It would be nice to find someone with money, resources, and an open mind to pursue this idea. Solar Energy and land-based wind energy turbines will provide ALL of the power needed now and forever. I hope it doesn't take two hundred years.

With little effort, we have the ability here for you to send a letter to our Representatives in Washington and Governor, too. Go to THE PLEDGE (at the very top of this page on the blue header) On the top of the pledge page there are three rectangular buttons- two blue ones and ONE RED BUTTON, that reads "CONTACT CONGRESS" . Fill in the short, standard form. Done!
YOU CAN ALSO HELP BY BRINGING 5 FOLKS TO JOIN the site today, so that we can build a voice big enough that Congress will finally have to listen to us, instead of the lobbyists and special interests, who are trying to derail this historic effort.

PERSONAL ACTION OPTIONSWe need to do more than “preach to the choir”. Sharing ideas with each other is encouraging but that will not 1) increase our membership nor 2) influence public policy. If you know someone in the press or someone who blogs - get them to cover this. Ask those in the public eye to support this plan.
