- I ride bicycles in lieu of driving where possible, I drive a Prius, I heat my pool with solar energy, and I try where possible to support alternative energy use.
My extensive use of Compost obviates the necessity of fertilizer, the production of which is very energy intensive.

- It addresses the Oil Crisis with direct POSITIVE answers, answers that I feel are real, Implementable and avoided by the current administration and big business interests, specifically the oil company interests.

I was riding my bicycle along on my new Northern Corridor Commute route (on Long Island) somewhere near the Merchant's Concourse when a Black late 1990's version Jeep pulled alongside as I pedaled into the headwind.
