- Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
- I currently own a 20% interest in a biodiesel plant capable of producing over 1 million gallons per year. The problem is the feedstock competes with food in many case unlike wind.
The plant is currently not profitable due to margins.
I am an engineer by trade and understand the seriousness of finding alternative energy for the country as I follow Matt Simmons and Robert Hirsch. The current oil depltion rates as recognized by the latest IEA report is very scary for the USA and the world. I believe the Pickens plan is the best bridge plan I have heard and I have been studying this for several years.

- This is the best bridge plan i have heard in several years of studying the coming decline of oil.
- What do you want to do to help?
- Whatever is needed. I have a full time engineering job at the time but willing to work after hours for this cause..

Please support the NAT GAS Act of 2009
One of the most important things we need to do, is to bring more people to the plan. When we are in the millions we will change the paradigm of thought on energy in this country forever.
Please bring 5 or 10 today. Thanks to Boone it is an easy ask- I say, "I am collecting support for T Boone Pickens plan to get us off of foreign oil and onto American solutions. We simply must keep the money in this country!"
Everyone wants to get off foreign oil. Everyone understands how important this is. We just need to gather their names - get name, address and email. Please tell folks that Boone does not share information, but will send periodic, concise and important updates. Input new supporters manually. THIS is how we build our numbers fast. I am proud to put my efforts towards this cause.
Well as they say (the large lady voiced the end). Neither candidate openly gave his support outright for our plan. Both new about it and to a degree felt the intense support behind it. It goes back to another old saying, on the political platform be careful how far you put your foot in the door.
Keep in mind As Sara Lee tells us (you cannot please all the people all the time).

Welcome to an exciting time at Pickens Plan! We have grown to almost 1.4 million suporters since June. There are now less than 70 days until Inauguration Day.
The Senate's "Gang of 20" and Thomas Friedman, celebrated columnist and author, have all stated that the only way to get the action we need on energy is to build this grass roots effort to un-ignorable heights. (Read at DAILY PICKENS)
Many hands make light work. Please download the petition and get 10 signed pledges faxed in asap. More if you can. It is easy, Boone has done the hard work already. We need to spread the word AND take names.

Welcome and THANK YOU for joining the Pickens Plan. I just wanted to let you know that a real person out here appreciates you taking that first step.
After you've had a chance to settle in, please let me know if there's anything I can do to guide your path. The basic first steps are reviewing the current topics in the Forum, and when you are comfortable, letting others know about the website. The people here are interested in making the plan a success and those you invite should be able to see for themselves that this is the right place to be.
Here are further steps you might consider.
- Visit the My Energy page and get involved.
- Work your contacts to increase press coverage.
- Write to congressional representatives directly.
- Use Pickens Action buttons or call (202)225-3121.
- Speak out for ending our dependence on foreign oil.
- Write letters to the editor of your local paper.
- Download flyers/etc from here or here.
- Download the Petition and ask others to sign it.
- Start a company to build wind turbines/solar panels.
- Start a financing firm to invest in those companies.
- Tell everyone you know about PickensPlan.com.
Decide for yourself what you can do, but definitely do something.
