Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:

My experience in both the residential & commercial HVAC industries over the last 15+ years has been focused on logical, affordable measures that can be employed to minimize energy consumption. I developed a program for Pepsi-TriCom's Pizza Hut facilities in the 1990's that, through recurring maintenance services, cut their energy consumption nearly 30% overall. Since 2001 my business operations have been focused on geothermal heating & cooling systems, and utilization of advanced construction products to build ultra-efficient homes with a doable, minumum energy savings of 70% overall. My personal residence - a 3,400 SF home - heats & cools for $4.61 per mo./average. This can be accomplished folks! It simply requires desire. Currently I am developing a "green" program that addresses energy efficiency in the homes now in foreclosure (nationwide) that offers the potential to reduce energy consumption in millions of homes about to re-enter the housing market. My personal goal is to cut heating & cooling costs of 10 million US homes by 50% within 5-years. And I believe it can be done.

What excites you about this campaign?

What I find exciting about this campaign is the unique opportunity it presents to change the way we perceive and use energy. The climate has never been better (no pun intended), to create alternatives, employ technologically advanced products, materials & systems, and get ahead of the energy crisis rather than lag behind expecting a magic pollution-solution. We now have an administration coming into office who truly understands and appreciates the need for immediate and significant action with regard to alternative energy sources. Let's all work together to make the most of this tremendous opportunity.

I spoke with my Jr. Partner this am.
We are going to meet tomorrow am as to the spec-display we are building.
Its about 2400 sf and will have an 'inlaw suite' built in that allows an extended living area for family who has to come home, who is too old and cherished to leave in a rest home, or whoever the family living there decides to have there.
The home will use permeable pavement driveways and sidewalks, (reduces runoff), the Insulated Superior Wall tilt up foundation, (requiring no footings), and waterproofing on the foundation that does not poison the soils, recycled newsprint for insulation, and, of course, the Home Hydrogen Comfort Systems we have developed. I would like to ask you to consider commenting and supplying as to as much of this home as you would care to offer.
Please buzz me today if you want we could speak further on the project.
The home is right next to mine so we could easily do a 1990's comparison to a 21st Century side by side comparison to publish.
