Speaking of alternative fuel. I am raising capital for a natural gas drilling company. They have been around since 1979 and are looking to raise funds for 150 wells in Virginia and West Virginia. They have monthly distributions and a 95% tax wrrite off for 2008. If you or if you know any one that may be interested feel free to contact me.
I got your name from the "slow down to save gas and money" group. (a group I joined recently)
I've been doing a bunch of amatuer research, and have found that there are a bunch of ways we can all reduce our energy use (and therefore oil consumption) on an individual level. Smarter (and slower) use of your car is only the start.
I wrote a little blog entry on the subject... If you have the time, check it out... http://push.pickensplan.com/forum/topic/show?id=2187034%3ATopic%3A193424 Drop me a line and let me know what you think.
I'm trying to talk to as many people as I can in order to continue to add to my list of ideas as far as how to conserve more in my daily life (and also share what I've learned)... I believe that while we build and invest in large-scale solutions, we can also do a bunch of little things in the process.
Dear Gennady,
Reach out to your Family, Friends, Relatives and Co-Workers. Ask them to go to PickensPlan.com to sign-up. Also use e-mail.
Keep your group in the loop on upcoming Pickens updates, and use facts.
Most importantly keep the politics out of this crusade.
Conviction, Persistence, and Dependence will be the only things to get us out of this catastrophic mess.
I hope this helps and wish you success. Please get back to me if I can be of more help.
I would like to join the group: New Jersey for the Pickens Plan. I hope I have entered the correct sub-menu to do this. New Jersey, let's do it! M . Morse, Morristown 07960

Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
My father is an expert in emissions and as I was growing up we spent a lot of time discussing alternative fuel and energy technologies. That's how it became an interest of mine. I beleive that we need to develop and promote renewable energy. I also believe that expanding U.S. energy infrastructure is important for our economy and national security.
What excites you about this campaign?
I believe that Mr. Pickens is absolutely right, that America has to achieve energy independence. Failing to do so will be detrimental to our country's future. Our politicians don't seem to have a grasp on what a solution looks like and they spend too much time talking about technologies that are yet to be developed and thus impractical in the near term. Too many people are too quick to blame the oil industry for high oil prices. So I am very excited to see an industry insider set forth a plan that is practical and that will have near term results if implemented. By the way, really enjoyed the interview on CNBC this morning.
