Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:: Not really much experience other than knowing the system we have now does not work! The auto manufacturers and oil companies have had over thirty years to do something other than line their pockets.

What excites you about this campaign?: Some one finally has a plan and plans to do something about it. It may not be perfect, but at least we are thinking. American ingenuity can overcome anything if we work at it. I personally feel we are at a terrible security risk right now, not unlike in the thirties leading up to WWII. If the Germans hadn't run out of fuel the outcome might have been longer and different.

What do you want to do to help?: Whatever I can. start with converting my car to LNG?

This year I have helped so many members learn about personal home energy plans. It's all about power use, conservation, and home power generation, things I have been doing at my residence to lower my energy costs. BTW, oklahoma: I just posted an article about Home Wind Systems in oklahoma. Your state's representatives, governor, and public utility commission officials are not in your corner with this "soft policy" on Net Metering. Instead they have the tables turned against green power for businesses and homeowners. You should read that article, important.

In fact, he wrote a very nice recommendation letter for me when I moved to OKC from Arkansas. Thanks for the info on the Natural Gas vehicles. Do you ever wonder why the things that are the best for our world always cost the most. Go figure. I'm praying for a sunny day in November when the new President McCain will lead this Country to a new beginning in energy and many other factors. I would be forever thrilled if Mr. Pickens would support Mr. McCain just because of McCain's push for energy independence. It must happen and with McCain and Pickens working together, they would be an awesome pair.
