We need to keep our eye on the goal. Please get 10 signed pledges faxed in today. As Thomas Friedman states (DAILY PICKENS) only a loud and large grass roots effort will force Washington into action. The Gang of 20 has said the same thing. THE ONLY WAY TO GET A CHANGE IN AMERICAN ENERGY POLICY IS TO BUILD THIS HISTORICAL EFFORT TO UNIGNORABLE HEIGHTS. The clock is ticking- less than 75 days until INAUGURATION DAY. We must concentrate on the job at hand. PLEASE GET 10 today.

I think better than Pickens or the Government we do it one by one.
On our own we have done hundreds of homes.
Using Solar n Winds hybrid system:
ü How much energy is possible to save in each house with reference to the normal consumer?
Based on topographical location and utility rate from 80 % to 100 % of the normal electrical load requirements of the normal home cost or 80 cents to every dollar.
C-50 up to 900 sq ft house with no central A/C.
C-100 up to 1900 sq ft house with single central A/C unit.
ü How many lights (90 watts) is possible turn on?... how many hours each day?
Ten ( 90 watt) light bulbs 900 watts per hour for 5 hours. (stand alone condition) using single C-50 or C-100 power station.
Or C-50 can run 388 (thirty eight) 90 watt bulbs for 40 minutes.
C-100 can run 776 ( Seventy Seven) 90 watt bulbs for 20 minutes.
ü How many electric items is possible turn on?... how many hours each day?
ü To ask for technical support to make repairs or give customer attention.
Solar n Wind, maintains certified technical personnel. Vendors and Suppliers and warranties vary based on manufactures guidelines.
General Electricians are certified to work on these systems, any licensed contractor or maintence personnel are authorized to service warranty equipment.
what is the procedure?
Contact either solar n wind directly or Manufacture as described in warranty policy. Service life for systems is based on warranty policy of each item. Examples PV’s 25 years, Inverter stages 5 years, Wind turbines 5 years, batteries up to 5 years, power cells up to 12 years.
ü What is the annual maintenance cost of this hybrid system?
General maintence with systems is based on system type.
All systems get a single check one month after installation.
Systems with power cells require no maintence, turn key and on. Power cell check after 5 years is recommended and every year after. Replacement when cells reach 55 % efficiency drop.
Systems with batteries require Simi - annual checks, (every 6 months batteries and water level must be checked. Replacement when cells reach 70 % efficiency drop.
No other service maintence required.

TRANSPORTATION is the master key to basic survival, and the cornerstone of the economy. We all know that transportation presently depends on oil production, and oil production is peaking. We must focus first on transportation – it is the highest priority. The PickensPlan to transition vehicles to natural gas is a great start toward 100% energy independence, but is a stop-gap measure till we can transition to all electric transportation. Electric energy is strained without adding transportation demands; so we must focus on drastic efficiency improvement.
Evacuated Tube Transport (ETT) is a patented technology where travel occurs without air friction or rolling resistance (like “Space Travel on Earth”); ETT can accomplish 50 times more transportation per kWh (or carbon credit) than electric cars or trains. ETT is silent, low cost, safe, faster than jets, a fourth the cost of freeways (yet over 10 times the capacity), and is electric so it can make maximum use of wind or PV power. If we can not get critical numbers how can we take advantage of this golden opportunity? High gas prices have "woken up" America to our plight and a paradigm shift like not other is in the wind. We need to do this now. So many new members write "I want to help, what can I do?" This is a start. We may not get to the next step if we can not get this one done.
Our leaders can not ignore millions of members of the Pickens Plan. We are not there yet. One person can make a difference.
