- I once had a solar water heater experiment with the local rural electric co-op. I heat with oil and a heat pump and recently added a fireplace insert to help with rising costs.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- It is at least a plan. Washington has messed around since the Carter years when we were warned that we had an oil supply problem and all they have done is throw money around coupled with a lot of hot air.
- What do you want to do to help?
- Only way I know to help is write letters to the editor and try to email friends to get them interested as well as put pressure on elected officials to take a stand.

Well as they say (the large lady voiced the end). Neither candidate openly gave his support outright for our plan. Both knew about it and to a degree felt the intense support behind it. It goes back to another old saying, on the political platform be careful how far you put your foot in the door.
There is a group for almost everything. The Forums/discussions on this site are many and you’ll probably find something that interests or concerns you. Some are very long and were started months ago. For the ones that concern you, Please keep in mind, events are remembered and relayed differently by those commenting, which as we all too well know equals at least three sides to the event.

WE must get this done before Inauguration Day and give Obama the support he needs to accomplish this lofty goal, AND INSURE that Congress can not derail him. Special interests and lobbyists will surely try - we must be louder and stronger. Thomas Friedman has said, only a huge grass roots movement will cause the revolution in change that we seek!
