- I have been studying Solar Energy for the past 6 years and have attended several meetings and one Seminar that was Industry supported. I visited the Solar Energy Facility of the University system of Florida at Cocoa Beach. The ideas are incredible and the applications I saw were everyday items I had never realized could be serviced by solar energy. I am installer qualified.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- The idea of getting the entire Southwest area into this effort is quite a great dream. It isn't my dream, but it is a dream I can easily fit into place, once it is clear what needs to be done and how. There are a lot of jobs that will be generated and there needs to be good organization to become efficient and not double stacked, unless there is valid need for redundancy.
- What do you want to do to help?
- I can help in so many ways, it will come down to finding the best fit and the best value for the dollars spent. I currently am retired from the USPS and am involved in political organizations. I can design logos, build mock-ups, design T-shirts, present information and gather data. I am a photographer and artist, so I can help there. And I speak fluent Russian and German.
Support Candidates that support our future. Look for those who support renewable energies, because if they do not, you are paying for fossil fuels over and over again with no real return on your investments.

Happy New Year, Year Four of the Picken's Plan for getting America off of fossil fuels and especially off of Foreign OIl and Imported fossil fuels. Whre are you in your own fight to avoid fossil fuel use? Can you deal with not driving? I can't. Yet the cost to replace my gasoline engine in my GMC Sierra Extended Cab, is $9,000. But I want to promise you something. Even though I am in my 4th year of a 7 year Bankruptcy, I am doing all I can to support Boone and his goal of getting America off of FOREIGN OIL! We all should be convinced by now that what he said was 100% true. Just look at the price of Natural Gas these days and you see, we as a nation could do this even this very year...Why not stop importing expensive oil based fuel, and instead, making it ourselves and also switching to another form of energy use? Natural gas has matured. Cushing Oklahoma is bursting at the seams with Oil stored for America. We are at the best position in a decade to switch overnight to Natural gas as the best option for our nation. The costs of oil can be destroyed in a week by just a few changes, and yet, even that industry can be phased out if that is the wiser option. Natural gas will start going back up in cost, but it would take the economies of the USA and China together to create a dent in what has already been discovered in natural gas volume in just the USA. So let's recommit to helping Boone get Natural gas as the key fuel for this transition to clean technology, and hybrid cars that can use Solar, Hydrogen, Natural Gas, or even diesel to run on for miles at a time...We need the all the above approach, yes, but getting free from foreign oli, just saves the USA more fully and will jumpstart our economy in this new year of discoveries about our own abilities! SO, join me in supporting Boone's call for a comprehensive Energy strategy for America, starting with the US Department of Energy and ending with each city offering incentives to switch to clean technologies, be it solar, wind or some combination of many, we can do this...

Good to hear from you and hear of your concerns about fuel. I have the same exact concerns and have done quite a bit to overcome my dependence on propane, by using solar HW as a heat source for both domestic hot water and heat. I have a new heating system based on my old solar HW system that I installed in 1980-81 that is working better than ever. You are absolutely right. We are for anything American. Oklahoma is particularly blessed to have ample wind and solar resources. We were able to get a 3 year extension of the PTC (Production Tax Credit), which will provide tax credits to solar panel and wind turbine manufacturers.

Our mission is to educate, organize and represent beneficiaries in the adoption of a Renewable Energy Payment policy mechanism. We are launching a public relations marketing campaign focused on the advancement of a REP policy. By way of gaining broad support for this effort we will be engaging in a three pronged approach. First is to educate and influence the policy makers, elected officials and decision makers. Second is to educate the current and future members of the alliance through workshops, board meetings and presentations. Third is to educate and stimulate the public into taking action through their support and involvement.
The reasons we believe a REP policy will be effective are simple but very powerful. First they are transparent and easy to understand. Second they provide access to anyone and everyone who wishes to produce renewable energy, creating a level playing field for producers, individuals and businesses of all sizes. Third they provide no limit or cap on the upside of production, thus allowing a truly self directed market. Fourth and perhaps most important they offer ability to be financed, creating a whole new lending market and a whole new industry.
Stakeholders in FARE include renewable energy producers, individual residents of the state of Florida, community organizations, municipalities, elected officials, ranchers, farmers, commercial real estate holders, developers, manufacturers, non profits and associations.
Our goal is to represent one collective effort showing support for advancing rapid, widespread deployment of renewable energy in the state of Florida. Our alliance will act as a public face in front of elected officials, potential members, community organizations, municipalities, like-minded initiatives, and the media. The alliance will also serve as an information hub, acting as a central source for collection and distribution of news, whitepapers, press releases and member activity.
Our three basic platforms for the REP mechanism are job creation, energy independence and environmental stewardship. During the 2009 legislative session we will advocate implementation of REPs with the House and Senate in Florida as well as the Governor and his team.

On your 11/16/08 comments on inventors using your ideas, when you expose the ideas that could be patented, you have "Given" your soul away and it is no longer patentable as it is now "Public Property". I walked this path and learned this tragic truth. BE CAREFUL as this venue is dangerous when actual knowledge is simply posted and that "Private Knowledge" is NO LONGER YOUR'S and you will never have that chance to keep OR retain YOUR PERSONAL KNOWLEDGE our use for your personal value. I have three inventions or break throughs for you tonight. Each one is patentable and you know what is valuable. Perhaps they will not meet your criteria, or maybe they will...
First idea was about the valence cascade problem caused when scientists from the NREL tried to force off all 8 electrons off the outer electron shell of Gallium along an Indium and Copper pathway, with the sun being the catylist. The problem was that the cascade would fail fairly fast at only a few nanoseconds per reaction. So, they assumed they could not get it to last longer or to continue the cascade further than a few molecules deep at any one time. But the problem was with the metal Copper that only has two electrons to trade, and it shut down the cascade each time. So, the solution is simple. Just anodize the copper core with gallium and/or Indium, so that that the cascade continues and continues all the way down the conduit, via anodized wire, until it gets to the inverter, that absorbs the cascade and the output is tremendous, at nearly 4 times the average electron dispersement as usual, which means that a 20% efficiency would be an 80% efficiency! The costs are very low and the results make solar energy hugely affordable for all people! Next idea is to create a new wire design that has plastic/aluminum in the center of a hollow copper wire, at the same size as normal wire of the same resistance levels. The savings is huge, with little difference in maleability or flexibility. The benefit is: not as much copper to make the same quality of wiring! Third idea is the Soil Analysis Device, that has an attachment that can download reports on each soil test performed up to 200 per charge. Each report will include detailed analysis of soil chemical composition, PH, and micro organism detection processes that detect nematodes and other pests that harm roots. You just upload by attaching a bus cord and upload to a portable computer, Laptop, Cellphone, or even an IPOD! It will revolutionize soil testing and detection gear for professional gardeners.
