What excites you about this campaign?
The POSSIBILITY Mr. Pickens "Gets It" regarding need to reorient transport emphasis as well as full-blown investment in renewable source. Transport in USA must replicate railway capacity & reach seen in mid-twentieth century USA.

Particularly, freight (victuals, necessities of life, local manufacturing and food production will need mobility beyond trucking. Trucking will falter as the Peaking Oil shortfalls accellerate; gas is subject to peaking as well. Railway, renewable linked, is best guarantor of Societal & Commercial COHESION Oil Interregnum & beyond.
What do you want to do to help?
Discuss orientation of railway rehab with 3066 US County Planning Bureaus, be sure interested parties have US Rail Atlas Maps (spv.co.uk) so strategic thinking on comprehensive railway corridor upgrade & extension can be smoothly and deliberately executed. Respective States' National Guard Departments are natural partners: Railway Operating and Maintenance Battallions must be commissioned; initial action, all NG Commandants have & familiarize with GCOR, railroad rules, download from web.

Are you a rail Gunnar, or just a buff?
I am a conductor for Union Pacific. I can tell you from my dealings with managment at both BNSF & UP that traditional American railroads won't work out. They still have a "Robber Barron" mentality, they would always want too much control, and the price we would have to pay would be way too high. And forget about re-regulating the industry, they won't let it happen. A new player would have to enter the game, STU could be that player, take a good look around their website they have some very interesting solutions to some very expensive traditional railroad problems.
