Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Maybe--But Not Sure What to Organize
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
Poverty, keeps you from driving your car and teaches you to layer so you can keep the thermostat at 60 degrees. Hooded Obama sweatshirts works the best.
What excites you about this campaign?
Because we can do it with leadership, you and Obama.

And you have yet to ask for my VISA number
What do you want to do to help?
I would likely be able to work on my Mac at home, stuff envelopes, and like tasks that may be done at my home and don't have deadlines. It will have to be decided on a case by case basis.
Sent Obama $25 a month. Also, pretty much sent him money whenever he asked. Toward the end, I tried to get a t-shirt for my donation. I am a retired person living on Social Security Disability so I don't want to donate any more.

Hi Harriet

Welcome to an exciting time at Pickens Plan! We have grown to almost 1.4 million suporters since June - just 5 months. There are now less than 70 days until Inauguration Day - we must put it into overdrive!

The Senate's "Gang of 20" and Thomas Friedman, celebrated columnist and author, have all stated that the only way to get the action we need on energy is to build this grass roots effort to un-ignorable heights. (Read at DAILY PICKENS) We need to keep our eye on that goal!

Please get 10 signed pledges faxed in today. It is easy, Boone has done the hard work already. When I brought mine to the UPS Store to fax them, the new owner and his wife signed the pledge. They were huge supporters, but had not had time to go online and just do it. There are so many folks out there like them - we just need to spread the word AND take names.

Many hands make light work. Can you help? JUST 10!

1. Download the pledge/petition :

http://media.pickensplan.com/downloads/PP/pollingsignupsheet.pdf

2. get them signed

3. fax them in to the 888# at the bottom of the pledge, asap.

Gratefully
Kim

Please congratulate our two newest 100CLUB members -

1. Jeff Greene with Wise Gas, Inc is developing the natural gas infrastructure in Florida and was able to promote the Pickens Plan through their website www.wisegasinc.com and by handing out water to voters and soliciting their support.

2. Gary C. Boldt worked for several weeks on this and did not let an election day car accident prevent him from getting the job finished on that day!

Please visit both men and thank them personally for their outstanding efforts!

Best

Welcome!
We are a voluntary community of individuals who are placing our combined support behind T. Boone Pickens and his efforts to send our government a clear (heard) message that we must reduce our nation’s dependence on foreign oil through the use of all domestic energy alternatives. This site is a place to interact with fellow Pickens Plan supporters, keep up with events hand opportunities to help get more involvement. Most can be found on the main/home page.
We need to Push.PickensPlan.com – or “Push” as we like to call it.
Our future really does depend on us at this point in time!
If not now, WHEN? If not you, WHO?
Look up your regional leader. Also Click on (Group) Guides and materials.
If your able Check out cafepress.com for more advertizing material.
Again Welcome; Tom
I am proud to put my efforts towards this cause.

Well as they say (the large lady voiced the end). Neither candidate openly gave his support outright for our plan. Both new about it and to a degree felt the intense support behind it. It goes back to another old saying (be careful what you wish for, or on the political platform be careful how far you put your foot in the door.)
Keep in mind As Sara Lee tells us (you cannot please all the people all the time).

That's a bummer you did not even get a tee. If you can do little things to help conserve in your own home it will help. Your loco ldr can help you find ways to help our movement. We are counting on Obama to work on this one of many important issues.

Friend me and I'll send you a sweat shrt. to help this winter. Tom

Hi Harriet,

Welcome and THANK YOU for joining the Pickens Plan. I just wanted to let you know that a real person out here appreciates you taking that first step.

After you've had a chance to settle in, please let me know if there's anything I can do to guide your path. The basic first steps are reviewing the current topics in the Forum, and when you are comfortable, letting others know about the website. The people here are interested in making the plan a success and those you invite should be able to see for themselves that this is the right place to be.

Here are further steps you might consider.

- Visit the My Energy page and get involved.
- Work your contacts to increase press coverage.
- Write to congressional representatives directly.
- Use Pickens Action buttons or call (202)225-3121.
- Speak out for ending our dependence on foreign oil.
- Write letters to the editor of your local paper.
- Download flyers/etc from here or here.
- Download the Petition and ask others to sign it.
- Start a company to build wind turbines/solar panels.
- Start a financing firm to invest in those companies.
- Tell everyone you know about PickensPlan.com.

Decide for yourself what you can do, but definitely do something.

Welcome once again and thanks for signing up.

Clynton
