Write our leaders. We need to talk to our friends and tell them even if oil is now cheap we still need to get off the middle east/OPEC oil.

I am the District Leader for the Spokane area (WA-05 group). We could use some active discussions and new ideas in our group. I am trying to promote Alternative Energy and job training programs to the Spokane County Commissioners and City of Spokane, to make sure that we have trained workers for the "Green Economy". We need programs covering everything from building windmills, to improving energy efficiency of public buildings, or converting diesels to run on liquid natural gas.

I question who are they really looking out for and who is in there pockets. We need leaders who do what is best for the country not what is best for them and there party they represent.
