Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:

We have a very ineffective passive solar room on the very south of our home. Can not tell you the exact dimension at this time. However, we put this passive solar room on the front of our home in the late 70's. However, we have always wanted to put in place a windmill for the production of electricity as we have wide open spaces and wind almost all year long. ( We also have a completely electric house that was built by my father-in-law and husband in the late "60's. ) However, the cost was way out of our reach. We had read about some plans(schematics) for building your own but my husband and I were afraid one of the blades would fly into the neighbors barn or kill a prized bull! We live in the central part of Ohio in the country. The North/West winds beat us alive every winter but nothing like the blizzard of "78!

What excites you about this campaign?

Dear Mr. Pickens,

We are happy to say we are not 80 years old! If we were, we would clearly be gone because we have been waiting for alternatives since the early '70's!!!!!!!!

What do you want to do to help?

Obviously, this is a huge learning curve. My most trusted family and friends believe this whole moving toward another form of energy is another move to enslave the working families of this country: The U.S.A. I teach ESL(English as a Second Language). So for me, moving towards alternative energy is about learning!!! That is where my strength lies.

No more "Swift Boating"!

Dear Mr. Pickens,

No more "Politics as Usual"! Why hasn't the Pickens Plan talked to Joe Biden? Some of us have been waiting for more than 30 years for a real answer to the energy "no" plan.

Sarah Palin is no Hillary Clinton! This is beginning to sound like the same ole Palin, ops, Plan ops McCain, ops Cheney ops, enslavement of the average United States tax payer.

I thought you really had more chutzpah than that!

The stars have aligned to create the possibility of a paradigm shift that is and has been urgently needed. We have an angry citizenry due to pain at the pump, a presidential election on the horizon, and a man with a plan to dramatically and imminently reduce our dependance on foreign oil, who has the resources, contacts and connections, knowledge and "will" to get it done.

Please share this plan with your circle of friends, family and associates. Unrge them to JOIN. As you know, it is simply like signing a petition. With large numbers of supporters, we can put pressure to bear on Congress to incentivize alternative and renewable energies, and insure that our future president will be a leader that will push for domestic energy solutions. JFK once said. "in the next 10 years we will put a man on the moon". He got it done. We need that kind of leadership on energy.

Time is of the essence. If gas prices retreat the public will forget the pain, and our moment may be lost. How frightening to be looking back and apologizing to our children that we could not get this done when we had the chance.
