Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?

Maybe--But Not Sure What to Organize

Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:

Right now I am in a major research mode. I want to know as much as I can about solar, wind and water desalination. Some of my friends know that I am very interested in this but I would like to prepare useful content that will help them understand what the problems are and what they can do to help -- at any level. From changing their light bulbs to installing tankless water heaters and solar panels. There are many levels that folks can do -- they just either don't know what to do or feel that they aren't doing enough -- therefore why do anything at all. I believe that every little bit helps and want to encourage folks to do something. I am an Executive Producer of corporate meeting and events. From small audiences to over 3000 people -- I want to put my experience to work for the benefit of promoting and teaching folks about our global energy problems.
In answer to your question -- not much experience but I would like to join other people locally -- here in NYC.

What excites you about this campaign?

Everything excites me about this campaign. T. Boone Pickens is a man, a name, an accent that most Americans can identify with -- he isn't threatening and he speaks their language in a clear and unrehearsed/unpackaged way. I especially like that he is targeting the government to bring this plan to fruition. Americans need to understand that without government support we will not be able to do what needs to be done in a timely manner. Without government support it will take much longer to implement the solutions that are available to us right now. This is the "New" New Deal that can put Americans back to work in a meaningful way and that will impact the global economy in a very positive way.

What do you want to do to help?

Get involved with a local group so that I can learn as much as possible, put my talents to work and radiate out from there to spread the word.
