- I served as a U.S. Department of Energy Political Appointee for President Ronald Wilson Reagan, and President George Herbert Walker Bush in the Offices of International Affairs, the Office of Minority Economic Development, the Office of Community Affairs, and as Deputy Director of the White House initiative to Rebuild LA after the riots.
Our L N Forbes Foundation New Jersey National Community Service Stimulus team has enormous experience and knowledge regarding the way Washington does, and does not work. Our team understands how to get things done inside Washington, throughout rural and urban America, including Indian Nations.
Our L N Forbes Foundation New Jersey National Community Service Stimulus team is committed to the Pickens Plan, and would consider it a great honor to help rural and urban America, and Indian Nations benefit from the goals and objectives of the Pickens Plan to decrease America's dependency of the global petroleum industry, and help create 3 million new jobs over the next 10 years.

- The L N Forbes Foundation Team www.lnforbesfoundation.com is excited about the Pickens Plan--#1 Because the Pickens Plan would be good for America, #2 Current and future global supply and demand warrants the Pickens Plan, and #3 The current President, First Lady, and Administration could play a very pro-active role in making the Pickens Plan a grassroots community mandate, and obtainable reality for all Americans, including Indian Nations.
- What do you want to do to help?
- We would like to start by organizing an urban, rural, and Indian Nations pilot National Community Service Stimulus Pickens Plan Alternative Energy Initiative program, lead by Ret. Admiral Anthony Watson and the Bishop L N Forbes Foundation in East Orange, New Jersey.
This strategic National Community Service Stimulus "Private Sector Initiative" would also include partnering with the New Jersey Department of Labor Workforce Multi Access Resource Consortium (MARC), and major private financial institutions, pharmaceutical corporations, community and faith based organizations, and Veteran owned and operated small businesses.
Will discuss further, and prepare a formal plan.

Thanks for reaching out. I enjoyed speaking with you and look forward to meeting you in the future to further explore these important issues. The attached video will give you some idea about the growing interest in the commercial and retrofit marketplace for Green Building and improvements. After waitng so many years it's refreshing to see this energy for energy developing. Urban areas such as you describe are the center of the bullsye for these kind of projects. The long term benefit to the environment is complimented by the immediate affect of jobs and support to the local economy.
Please look up the USGBC and consider joining the NJ Chapter. You will meet a concentration of members focused and knowledgeable about the kind of community development you're interested in.
