- Not much, unfortunetly. I've got a car and I do as much as possible with it to keep gas consumption down.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- I just want to know that we wont keep on heading into global warming any further than we already are. When I'm old and wrinked, I want to hear the kids talk about how we changed things around and cleaned up the air.
- What do you want to do to help?
- I'll do what I can, although I'm not quite sure how much that is since I'm 17 and low on cash.

We've grown larger than when I first contacted you.
We’d like to have you as a member, just search for WA-05 in the Pickens Plan Home Page right side, “Find Your Group”. On this page you’ll be instructed to type in your zip code and our page should appear. The Washington 5th Dist, is in the top 20 rated Pickens Plan Army groups in the nation! We meet every other week and attendance isn’t mandatory.
I'm sorry for the delay in getting around to welcoming you personally. The Pickens Plan has gone through reorganization as a result of smaller groups dying. The result is the most prosperous groups remain and members are urged to re-organize into their congressional district groups. The most popular groups still remain.
For members living near an Idaho border town, feel free to go to meetings there until you can get enough Washington members, later you’ll be having co-meetings and BBQ’s.

But thats okay because this group is about raising awareness and bringing about change. Not making money :-)
You know what you have that we don't? Understanding of your generation and how to get there attention. What we do today is prepare and get these changes underway so that your kids HAVE an energy future. Keep checking in, ask questions and be sure to voice YOUR opinion....we want to know!

PLEASE email the Pickens Plan video to everyone you know. www.pickensplan.com. Ask them to JOIN. Ask them to pass it along. Time is of the essence. If every member had 10 friends join today, we could put the number of members over 1 million very quickly!
If we can not get critical numbers how can we take advantage of this golden opportunity? High gas prices have "woken up" America to our plight and a paradigm shift like not other is in the wind. We need to do this now.
So many new members write "I want to help, what can I do?" This is a start. We may not get to the next step if we can not get this one done.
Our leaders can not ignore millions of members of the Pickens Plan. We are not there yet. One person can make a difference.
I have put a sign in my car window that reads...
" 700 BILLION IN FOREIGN OIL ANNUALLY. STOP THE LARGEST TRANSFER OF WEALTH IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND.....TO OUR ENEMIES. JOIN www.pickensplan.com."
I also have small business card size notes with the same message that I can hand to friends. It's grass roots, but that is what this is going to take.
