- I wouldn't say I have experience, but I can remember seeing wind turbines near my grandfather's home in Tracy, California back in 1985. I never understood why this type of project was not more accepted and has not advanced any further than it is today.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- I recently completed an Energy Finance course at Oklahoma State University from Dr. Betty Simkins. The course was interesting and my interest in Oil, Gas, & Energy are high at this time. Dr. Simkins spoke alot about Mr. Pickens during her lectures. From this course and what I've seen of Mr. Pickens in the media, I have a lot of respect for him. We need alternative energy sources. Wind power is in the best position it has ever been in to gain support and become successful. I'm excited about the future and anything that reduces our dependency on foreigh oil.

This year I have helped so many members learn about personal home energy plans. It's all about power use, conservation, and home power generation, things I have been doing at my residence to lower my energy costs. BTW, oklahoma: I just posted an article about Home Wind Systems in oklahoma. Your state's representatives, governor, and public utility commission officials are not in your corner with this "soft policy" on Net Metering. Instead they have the tables turned against green power for businesses and homeowners. You should read that article, important.
