Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
Personally installed Solar PV system on my home, also designed my Solar Hotwater system that powers the radiant floor heating system in the deck of my room addition. I'm a journeyman electrician, and a controls system engineer.
What excites you about this campaign?
Relief from foreign oil, a non partisan approach to a viable solution, would also like to see more nuclear permits being issued for the long term solution.
What do you want to do to help?
I am a public servant, I work for the City of San Diego. I would be willing to work full time to solve this country's energy problem.

I have a rack of deep cycle batteries, the type used for a UPS, and a Trace SW 4024 that I power a portion of my home. On the DHW side I have 2 storage tanks, 180 gal total. One is a Natural Gas Hot Water Heater, the other is strictly solar. This time of the year the pilot is Off on the Gas unit.
