Yes , the company has submitted their application . I don't see anyone that can top their technologies which will increase fuel economy by 5 to 10 times - possibly more as research continues .
The company's engineering department spent the entire day on 08/07 with the engineering department of one of the " BIG 3 " auto manufacturers and later there was a meeting between the CEOs . There will be a major announcement about this and other developments on September 15th .
We all know that Ford , GM and Chrysler are all three on the brink of bankruptcy . It would not surprise me to learn that GM will soon have a new owner . Ford management on the other hand pulled a really stupid move . They sent an order ( edict ) to their dealership network that they are not to talk with anyone offering modifications of any sort .
