- Practicing attorney in DFW area, sometimes other parts of State in Workers' Compensation law mainly. Have attended biodiesel seminar in OKC, OK by girlmark group that is very knowledgable in the field. Biodiesel can be made in your garage (well vented though) and run your car. My cousin has been driving on it for 6 years, so it can be done. Cost about 50 cents/gallon and from any type of vegetable oil.. Also have some knowledge of solar.

Happy New Year Jane,
Last year I helped so many members of Pickens Plan learn about personal home energy plans. It's all about conservation of power, and home power generation, things I have been doing at my residence to lower my electricity costs. Send me a friend request a to add me Jane, I'd be honored to have you as a friend here.
BTW, Texas: I just posted an article link on my pickens page about Home Wind Systems in Texas. Your state's representatives, governor, and public utility commission officials are not in your corner with this "weak policy" on Net Metering. Instead they have the tables turned against green power for businesses and homeowners. Texas has created multiple sets of rules for loopholes and you have less rights than people in other states. You should read that article, important.
How is it going with petitions? Please stop by and give me an update - would be so happy to hear from you. How many so far?

NO INFLUENCE WITHOUT NUMBERS
PLEASE TAKE A PLEDGE TO WORK TODAY!
I am asking everyone to please take petitions to school or work or wherever you are going today! It is very easy. Kim Anderson was able to gather 75 signatures Thursday and Friday while Christmas shopping and running errands. Everyone wants to get off of foreign oil; we just need to gather their names. WE CAN DO THIS, with everyone’s help.

Doug has been steady at the tiller with consistent effort and kept at it until he was done. I am inspired by his tenaciousness. I hope you are motivated by his success.
With your background (Literally) on this page it blocked the highlighted sites I asked you to read to get up to date info and get true knowledge of were we are heading and how we need to get there. I have greeted hundreds of new people who all agree our world is in a mess and it seems it is up to us to bring real direction. If we do not I'm afraid the grandkids will not be in a pleasent place. After you've scanned around a bit meet your local ldr and keep e posted.
Thank you for offering to build our voice! This is the only way to make sure we change the paradigm of thinking on energy in this country. One person at a time.

WE must get this done before Inauguration Day and give Obama the support he needs, AND INSURE that Congress can not derail him. Special interests and lobbyists will surely try. We must be louder and stronger. Thomas Friedman has said, only a huge grass roots movement will cause the revolution in change that we seek!
Take a petition to work... or school.... or wherever you go.
I found supporters everywhere today- 5 at the florist, 3 at the garden center - they offered to take afew petition sheets and get them signed- 3 at the bank, 4 at a friends clothing store, 3 at the childrens clothing store - they also offered to help get some supporters signed up for me. 18 supporters while I did my Christmas shopping!

Well as they say (the large lady voiced the end). Neither candidate openly gave his support outright for our plan. Both knew about it and to a degree felt the intense support behind it. It goes back to another old saying, on the political platform be careful how far you put your foot in the door.
There is a group for almost everything. The Forums/discussions on this site are many and you’ll probably find something that interests or concerns you. Some are very long and were started months ago. For the ones that concern you, Please keep in mind, events are remembered and relayed differently by those commenting, which as we all too well know equals at least three sides to the event.

PICKENS U We are recruiting "Campus Coordinators" for colleges and universities to represent the Pickens Plan on campus. We are looking for someone who can create a college page on the Pickens Plan site and also on Facebook encouraging folks to sign up for the Pickens Plan.
If you are connected to a college or university in your state, can be a campus coordinator, or can help find a campus coordinator, please let me know so we can get the process rolling.
