- I would like to thank everyone who gave advice on a career in the wind industry. I recently finished wind tech school in CA and looking forward to getting in the field. I also moved from TX to TN and I love it here so far.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- What excites me is that it makes sense unlike most of the governments brain farts. America can accomplish this plan if everyone opens their eyes. The plan is plain and simple IT'S
COMMON SENSE!!! something that most Americans have lost unfortunately.
- What do you want to do to help?
- I will help anyway I can. I am now in the wind industry and hope we all can make a change.

Great to hear from you, and THANK YOU for joining. My suggestion to you if you haven't done so already, is to return to the PICKens Me! group page, and in a Comment Box, indicate your interest in learning and being part of the wind industry with mention that you seek employment in 'the wind industry'. Add your personal email address and perhaps phone number.
Doing so will allow recruiter and employers to read through your comment and your simply never know... surely you can find great employment opportunities in wind energy. I'm in the process of reaching out to employers seeking their job postings.
I'll be adding them to the top of the page as I receive them, and in time will transfer it all to a website I'll create... the domain is already registered;)

Welcome and THANK YOU for joining Pickens Plan.
Please bring 5 folks to join the site today, so that we can build a big enough voice that Congress will finally have to listen to us, instead of the lobbyists and special interest, who will certainly try to derail this historic effort.
THERE IS NO TIME TO DELAY
…to wait and see…or to see if someone else will step up to the plate. It is time for US to roll up our sleeves and go to work. Right now momentum is working in our favor, but if gas prices retreat, the public will forget the pain, and our moment may be lost. How frightening to think that we could be looking back and apologizing to our children that we could not to get this done when we had the chance.

PERSONAL ACTION OPTIONS
We need to do more than “preach to the choir”. Sharing ideas with each other is encouraging but that will not 1) increase our membership nor 2) influence public policy. If you know someone in the press or someone who blogs - get them to cover this. Write to your Congressman/woman. Ask those in the public eye to support this plan. Print downloadable flyers and put them in your car and/or business window.
A GROUP FOR EVERYONE
Check out the many groups for Solar, CNG, scientists, etc. Connect, learn and share. We grow stronger with your input. If you don't see a group that speaks to your interest, then start a group of your own.
