Profile Information

Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Yes
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
I have little first hand experience but its a subject I have studied casually for years. I have plans to be involved in wind and NGV and other conservation concepts like gray water reycling in the near term.
What excites you about this campaign?
My biggest concern is for the financial stability of our country. Security and the environment round our the top three concerns I have (as they relate to this subject).
What do you want to do to help?
Those of you from Idaho falls. I have created a discussion group. Please take a second to join it so we can all talk. It is Idaho Falls Mobilize! Delete Comment I would like to involve the local media to bring awareness to the problem at hand and take steps to try to move forward. We have no NG filling stations within 200 miles of my community and yet we could purchase NG for less than a $1 a gallon (with the tax rebates) if the infastructure was in place. I would like to work with our gas utility to try and make that a reality. It would be good for consumers, the environment and good for the utility too! Thats win win win

Invitation to join the NW Renewable Energy Group
I have started a Regional group, welcoming comments, ideas, and suggestions for Renewable Energy in the NW Region. Including states from the Pacific, Cascade and Rocky Mountain areas. I realize that some of my Pickens Plan friends are outside this region, but you are always welcome to join and add your thoughts to the discussion. We should be looking at best available sources of energy in our region, and ways to improve the power grid to transfer energy from region to region as it is needed.

Jason, what a load you are carrying! It is high time all Idahoans help carry that load. Let's move on and up with the help of mobilizing Idaho. All our jobs will be much lighter and new jobs will be created which will renew our rural communities. We need to through that turtle off and replace with you on the back of a race horse with that mind set to win and win big time. Jason you are ready to run and are begin held back by our inability to mobilize. You are a true leader we would welcome your seting a meeting where in you could round up the race horses that will set goals to change where we are in the energy policy here in Idaho. Keep up the good work. Let your voice be heard. 8663348892@gosolo.com

Thats the link to join the District 2 Group. I had a great meeting with the Mayor of Pocatello. He signed the pledge no problem and is on board.

Cool, I appreciate the push on the local level. I'm meeting with the Mayor of Pocatello on Thursday. Also, we are trying to get a local radio station involved with the push. We are trying to get some of the local college bars involved as well with the push. As far as signing people up for the inaugural push, I'll figure out the best way to track it with the folks above. By the way Butch Otter signed the pledge. Thanks for getting back to me and lets hit 500.

My name is Ryan and I am a strong supporter of the Pickens Plan. I am currently based in Pocatello, ID. We are on a mission in the 2nd District of Idaho to sign up 500 people for the Pickens Plan by inauguration. If you could help in this venture by pushing the plan to friends and family that would be awesome. I believe we are getting close to a solid energy plan in this country but we need to keep the pressure on the local, state, and federal politicians. If you have any questions regarding this goal please do not hesitate to ask. Thanks for your support and together the east Idaho army can accomplish this task.

Ther is a Bill in the Senate that take Billions in Tax credits away from only the 5 biggest oil companies and uses that money toward renewable energy. That way the small guys can survive.

Hi JAson

Glad to connect with you again! Need your help.

I know that we are friends, and you get email updates from me, however, I think this is so important, I am reaching out personally.

I AM CREATING A "100 CLUB"... members that have faxed in 100 or more signed pledges. So many thousands of people signed onto this site and said they would do "anything" or "everything" to help. Here is your chance!

We have the mechanism to build our numbers, we need to use it. Pledges are a very easiest ask- Boone has done the hard work. All we need to do is hitch our wagon to his horse and plow to the finish. I have sent in 240 so far. The office has recieved thousands, we need millions.

It comes down to.... DO WE HAVE THE FORTITUDE to really go the distance on this? I sure hope so. We aren't asking folks to take up arms. But, THIS IS OUR REVOLUTION. And we have a very small window to get it done. I would like your help.

Are you able to help us fight for this? Are you in?
Best,
Kim

Just 10 a day for 10 days! For our energy future, isn't it worth it?
