I just hope this country will get up to speed with the rest of the world and make some compressed air cars. I hope to see this in MY LIFETIME! I am ready to buy and drive one right now! Thanks.

My company would like to build and make Green USA cars, using compressed Air Powered, CNG and other technology. They should sell between $5,000 and $10,000. Our intent is to power these vehicles with a multi-fuel, high efficency, low cost engine, ...

Hi Tom: We are all born nobodies. The question is whether we want to remain nobodies or try to do something daunting and of merit. RET is a hi efficiency, inexpensive, multifuel, green proprietary thermo-mechanical engine. It can run on Diesel, CNG, BioFuels, Home heating oils... Or, using heated working fluids from solar or geo thermal sites. You do not need a new infrastructure. Applied to transportation, RETs could save 1 billion bbls/oil annually, with modest penetration. Works for heavy trucks, buses, construction equip, as well as cars, motorcycles, marine, entertainment. It will be a paradigm shift toward energy independence, and make transportation a commodity. We hope to get a start, probably in a foreign country, that understands the economic importance of energy to their lives. A lightweight RET powered auto will get 150MPG. It obviates a lot of "alternatives" such as EV's which may Lug 1,000 pounds of battery! A RET auto, made in the USA, should not cost more than $5,000 with some creature comforts. The other shoe on our automotive /. energy debacle is the foreign technology companies have high efficiency, low cost technology, that they can/ will introduce. Right now, they are simply benefiting from the Detroit system where, more efficiency get hit with an exponential price increase. SHould be the opposite. JR Sannerwind@gmail.com

Welcome!
I am one of the welcome wagon crew. We are all volunteers. Out of sheer numbers I greet daily I have a stamped copied note. It is not intended to overwhelm you, just give you a direction and some contacts. I do read every profile page.
We are a voluntary community of individuals who are placing our combined support behind T. Boone Pickens and his efforts to send our government a clear (heard) message that we must reduce our nation’s dependence on foreign oil through the use of all domestic energy alternatives. This site is a place to interact with fellow Pickens Plan supporters, keep up with events and opportunities to help get more involvement.
For those of you that have already jumped in and have made contact with your local leader- thanks.

*************Please, I ask the first sites you visit to get accurate info and articles to see pretty much what the plan is about and where the plan stands, and please come back to these sites often as changes take place regularly. Some are long, please; take the time to get all the details.
On the home page, click on About The Plan ~ Boone Cam ~ Blog - You’ll see the Pie-graph Mechanics.
Our future is focus 1- at this point in time! If not now, When? If not you, WHO?
~~~~~~to quote, Earl Scharff, from RI,~~~~~~~
~~~~~"FOR INFLUENCE, YOU NEED NUMBERS!"~~~~~

Mr. Obama has voiced that eliminating the dependence of foreign oil is a top priority.
[Click here], to enter your zip code and be paired up with members in your area. If you want to be a leader for your area, you can also sign up on that page.
For our members in other countries [Click here ], to link to the International group.
If you would rather wait on a leader role, that’s ok we need helpers. An organization cannot be all chiefs.
There is a group for almost everything. The Forums/discussions on this site are many and you’ll probably find something that interests or concerns you. Some are very long and were started months ago. For the ones that concern you, please keep in mind, events are remembered and relayed differently by those commenting, which as we all too well know equals at least three sides to the event.
After you have read the sites I mentioned, if you need anything else to help you, while you help the push, please stop by. I am proud to put my efforts towards this cause.
Again, Welcome; Tom

Hi Jay,

Welcome. We appreciate you setting up an active account.

After you've had a chance to settle in, please let me know if there's anything I can do to help. The basic first steps are reviewing the current topics in the Forum, and inviting others to the website when you're comfortable. The people here want to do something to foster energy independence and those you invite will find that joining us is the right thing to do.

Here are further steps you might consider, some of which you may have already taken.

- Sign up to lead or volunteer on the Local District page.
- Visit your My Energy page and get involved.
- Get involved with others in your City or State.
- Find and connect with a like-minded Group.
- Start or join a Campus/Alumni group at PickensU.
- Work your contacts to increase press coverage.
- Write to congressional representatives directly.
- Use Pickens Action buttons or call (202) 225-3121.
- Speak out for ending our dependence on foreign oil.
- Write letters to the editor of your local paper.
- Download flyers/etc from here or here.
- Download the Petition and ask others to sign it.
- Start a company to build wind turbines/solar panels.
- Start a financing firm to invest in those companies.
- Tell everyone you know about PickensPlan.com.

Decide for yourself what you can do, but definitely do something.

FYI: Got a message for T. Boone? Contact your Regional Leader

Welcome once again and thanks for signing up.
Clynton
