Jayson,

Thank you for your interest in holding a Pickens Plan Town Hall. The way Town Halls are determined is really by Mr. Pickens schedule. You can send a formal invitation, with as much information on possible dates and event info as possible, to the address below and I will make sure it gets to Mr. Pickens schedulers:

T. Boone Pickens
PO Box 12123
Dallas TX 75225

Thanks so much!

Hey;

Just wondering. If you have a close figure what would be the total cost of materials to create a CNG fueling station?
I was wondering about approaching a couple of my area propane fueling places. They already have all the permits. Possibly create a conv kit service center.

Jayson, I'm putting together a list of resources for Clean Cities Coordinators. I'd appreciate your adding your company to the list. Please go here to do so:

Hi Jayson!

Glad to connect with you again! Need your help.

I know that we are friends, and you get email updates from me, however, I think this is so important, I am reaching out personally.

I AM CREATING A "100 CLUB"... members that have faxed in 100 or more signed pledges. So many thousands of people signed onto this site and said they would do "anything" or "everything" to help. Here is your chance!

We have the mechanism to build our numbers, we need to use it. Pledges are a very easiest ask- Boone has done the hard work. All we need to do is hitch our wagon to his horse and plow to the finish. I have sent in 240 so far. The office has recieved thousands, we need millions.

It comes down to.... DO WE HAVE THE FORTITUDE to really go the distance on this? I sure hope so. We aren't asking folks to take up arms. But, THIS IS OUR REVOLUTION. And we have a very small window to get it done. I would like your help.

Are you able to help us fight for this? Are you in?
Best,
Kim

Just 10 a day for 10 days! For our energy future, isn't it worth it?

Thanks for the question Linda. Propane and Natural gas are very similar gasses. Propane is actual a part of natural gas. Natural gas is made up of mostly methane but some propane, ethane, and butane. There are also a few more but they typically make up only 1 or 2%.

Propane is easier to compress and liquify so that is why it is so widley used on gas grills and things like that but it is basically refined Natural Gas.

Natural gas actually has more BTU per lb than propane so it is a more efficient fuel but more difficult to compress.

LCNG is just liquified natural gas that is decompressed to cng. It's much like LPG, which is liquified petroleum gas or in other words, propane.

Natural gas is a more efficient and cost effective fuel but requires slightly more energy to compress and liquify.

Hope that helps.

Jayson can you explain to me what propane is? Is it the same as LCNG?
Thanks, Linda C

I like the way you approached it. You are correct in saying the the decision makers are not looking at the same material that many of us in the industry are reading. Any politicians who have spoken with T. Boone or Aubrey Mcclendon, have this report.

Here is a link to the report. If it doesn't work, I can email it to you.

Check out www.Cleanskies.tv and search for Aubrey Mcclendon and watch any of the videos, my favorite is the CNBC interview.

David, please expand on the 7.1 years of natural gas. According to industry experts, and research analyists at Navigant, we have 118 years of production left assuming 2007 production rate.

That is proven researve right now, who knows when in those next 118 years, we'll see another discovery equal to the shale formations and new technique likened to horizontal drilling.

Hell boy. You in Texas. Google Boon Pickens and find out where his other Limited Companies are in Texas. Find one that might have a good chance of some of his people being there that know how to get to him. Load one of yours up, truck it over with ALL the specs and ask if he could have someone varify the tank. Let them know that you will be around to answer questions and what else you can do.. and collect the tank when they are finished.

I don't know if it will work. What do you have to loose?

Profile Information

Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Yes
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
I operate a company that manufactures high pressure vessels for the stationary storage of Compressed Natural Gas.

On average, spheres are 1/3rd cheaper than their counterparts.
What excites you about this campaign?
With wind energy freeing up more natural gas for use as a vehicle fuel, the USA will be on our way to energy independence and a cleaner, healthier world.

What's more is the overwhelming amounts of natural gas that are being freed up via horizontal drilling in the vast many shale formation in the US. CNG is no longer a stepping stone to hydrogen. Natural gas is a readily available, long lasting, viable fuel, and our answer to energy independence. Clean, Cheap, and Domestic, natural gas drives America's energy independence.
What do you want to do to help?
I strive to improve my products and processes every day to do my part to improve the economics of installing a CNG station. Everything we in the industry can do to lower the cost of installation of a CNG refueling facility, coupled with the ever increasing demand for the fuel, makes CNG stations a worth while investment for enterprise.

Auto Maker's Bail Out

Lets look at some of the things President-elect Obama and the Democrat lead Congress want to do. 1. Help the economy. 2. Reduce our imports from the middle east. 3. Reduce greenhouse gasses.

These are three BIG topics with the democrats so lets push something that can kill 3 issues with one stone.

Give the US automakers a bail-out. But make it so that 100% has to go toward developing marketable CNG vehicles. Whether that means by-fuel Tahoes and Expeditions or dedicated brand new looking CNG s… Continue
