- hello,Self assessment would indicate a imcomplete knowledge of alternative energy.. I have attempted to consolidate my knowledge in energy issues...but I am still cognizant that my efforts have not really been productive in summarizing the economics of energy...my data is ambiguous for wind, solar, and alternitive fuels. I need help with organization of energy economics! ....I want to get to understand the energy cost REALITIES..I welcome your ideas and assistance...

You want to talk about change..I guess under the guys running treasury, I we need to do is start a bank! I think Mr Pickens should start a solar and wind bank and ask for TARP funds! There is no limit to the amount of money the fed and treasury can print and now with temperary low prices it's only a question of time before we will be called upon...and look at all the jobs we will save in the process..After all,Gm argued it should be saved so why not wind and solar...As a matter of fact, I want one of those 4.5% mortgages and would somebody please recognize I could use a little vacation time so maybe the travel industry will open a bank and get me some TARP MONEY! Free enterprise for the new millenium! Isn't it nice that our economic future can be placed in the confident hands of Barney Frank, Chuch Schumer, and the wonderful Chris Dodd....After all they've guided us into the "largest economic crisis since the Great Depression" and are experts at passing on the blame but famous for rewarding the perpetrators! Oh well have you ever tried to get a Congressman to listen to the people..We all know to well how they are mere pawns for the Wall Street and Banking elite.

America Continues to Waste over 70% of the Energy it Consumes.
100's of millions of lights unnecessarily burn during the day and night, over heating and over cooling is the norm, over packaging, inadequate recycling, toxic landfills, horrendous road congestion, and our perverted obsession with road construction. Public and Private buildings, Schools, Churches, Homes, ... America's blatant energy waste and overuse is culturally pervasive, and abominable !
1- ONLY with a substantial and tangible economic reward/consequence will most Americans care to conserve.
Crude oil must be taxed at $200 per barrel and offset by making income tax begin at $60k.
Taxing energy is simple, fair, economically sound, and available TODAY.
2- The American auto industry must quickly transition to the 6.4 BILLION people reason$ to manufacture solar, wind, and other alternative energy producers. They already have the needed infrastructure. Every home and building in the world, could be using solar energy. We are fast running out of fossil fuels !
Humanity is racing toward extinction, via global warming, for our failure to stop our energy waste.
Taxing energy (in lieu of income taxes) is the ONLY incentive that will stop energy waste and cause renewable energy sources to be employed.

- Thank you for your interest in being a Congressional District Leader. The following lays out the goals and responsibilities of each Congressional District Leader but please don’t let the laundry list overwhelm you. We put that together as a place to start and guideline of things we can do, but don’t have to do everything in every district. Doing as many as possible is what we’re aiming for and hope it will be enough to make a difference.
• Be the point of contact for the official Congressional District group page on Push.PickensPlan.com.
• Work with other members of the New Energy Army in your Congressional District to sign up 500 new members by Inauguration Day.
• Host meet-ups with other members of the Army in your Congressional District to discuss ways you can take action and Push the Pickens Plan.
• Get an op-ed or letter to the editor placed in your local newspaper telling everyone why you support the Pickens Plan.
This is not a one-person job. We need to build a team of other supporters in your congressional district to help execute the plan.
Thank you for your consideration. Let me know what you think. If acceptable, please send me your email so I can send the emails I have sent to the other District Leaders which should bring you up to speed quickly.
