My technology limitations are well documented here. Embarassed to say, I have very little understanding about all the social networking sites..... I will , however, try to take a look. I am grateful for your help.
WE CAN DO THIS!
The object is to sign up as many folks as we can - and give Boone a big huge hammer. One that can insure that we change the paradigm of thought on energy in this country forever!
Go to TAKE ENERGY and manually upload friends and family. Many of mine have become more involved after getting Boone's emails.

I use several approaches. You will be surprised, how few folks respond to emails, but give it a try anyway. Keep control of the process - have them reply back to you, and you manually input their information. ( If you ask them to go to the site and join - most will not. Everyone is busy, they may mean well, but I am still running into folks, months later, that say, "Hey, I still have not done that thing, what was it?")
I say to people.... " I am gathering support for T Boone PIckens Plan to get us off of foreign oil and onto American solutions. We must keep that money in this country." Everyone understands this and most will let you add them to your list. Manually input name, email and address ( I don't ask for the phone number) at the TAKE ACTION page - look for the second blue tab on the left that reads "upload signups". When I sent out 100 emails, I got 30 or so immeditaely back. Ask the ones that reply if you can add their husbands, children, or other friends. This will turn 20 response into 40 new members, at least! I told them I was trying to gather 500 names. If you ask them, many people will help. I had one girl, who works at my gym, take alll my forms and filled them out, by making calls to all her firends, while I was working out. She gave me 30+ new members! Which leads me to the other way I add support. I carry the petition with me, everywhere. I say the same thing about gathering support for T Boone Pickens Plan........ We do not need a signature, just permission to add them to the list.
Tell them that Boone does not share information, but will send them periodic, and concise updates. If someone just does not want to give you an email, it is not a dealbreaker, just make sure you get the zipcode.
Please let me know how it goes. It really is easy - Boone has done the hard work. I have gathered over 650 names since August. Many have become more involved, all have become more educated because of Boone's updates.
WE MUST increase our numbers. PLEASE let me know how it goes. If you add just 10 a day, in 10 days you will have 100 - we would be honored to have you in the 100CLUB!

Everyone wants to get off foreign oil. Everyone understands how important this is. We just need to gather their names - get name, address and email. Please tell folks that Boone does not share information, but will send periodic, concise and important updates. Input new supporters manually. THIS is how we build our numbers fast.
