- At the moment none active, but common sense tells me that this is something that we should of been doing all along. Cost effective? At this point, with oil prices down, no it's not. But with the economy down and unemployment up, this is the best time to make it so.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- THE POSSIBILITES ARE SOOO OPEN! The factory workers, installers, electricians, heavy machine operators the list is endless. Great idea to give states money to build new bridges and repair roads, but that is not createing life-long jobs and carrers, and a lot of that money will never reach the working class, and that is where the up-swing begins.
- What do you want to do to help?
- Me, I want a job! Yes, is some of this self serving? Darn right it is, Quite frankly there is not much I can offer you that might be of help, other than speak to others about the need to do this now. I have been in production all of my life, except for the last two years, which was in car sales. Now I am looking for work.

NO INFLUENCE WITHOUT NUMBERS
I have been able to gather hundreds with a simple sentence -
"I am collecting signatures of support for T. Boone PIckens plan to get us off of foreign oil and onto American solutions" then put the petition in front of them. EVERYONE wants to get off foreign oil, we just need to add them to our list!
Please stop by and let me know how it goes. WE CAN DO THIS!

WE must get this done before Inauguration Day and give Obama the support he needs, AND INSURE that Congress can not derail him. Special interests and lobbyists will surely try. We must be louder and stronger. Thomas Friedman has said, only a huge grass roots movement will cause the revolution in change that we seek!
Take a petition to work... or school.... or wherever you go.
I found supporters everywhere today- 5 at the florist, 3 at the garden center - they offered to take a few sheets and get them signed- 3 at the bank, 4 at a friends clothing store, 3 at the childrens clothing store - they also offered to help get some supporters signed up for me. 18 supporters while I did my Christmas shopping, plus what they will get for me!

Well as they say (the large lady voiced the end). Neither candidate openly gave his support outright for our plan. Both knew about it and to a degree felt the intense support behind it. It goes back to another old saying, on the political platform be careful how far you put your foot in the door.
There is a group for almost everything. The Forums/discussions on this site are many and you’ll probably find something that interests or concerns you. Some are very long and were started months ago. For the ones that concern you, Please keep in mind, events are remembered and relayed differently by those commenting, which as we all too well know equals at least three sides to the event.

Contact and "Friend" the New Energy Army Regional Leader for your state; you can find them to the right, in the Featured Members section. Let him/her know that I sent you there and you are interested in becoming an organizer.
PICKENS U We are recruiting "Campus Coordinators" for colleges and universities to represent the Pickens Plan on campus. We are looking for someone who can create a college page on the Pickens Plan site and also on Facebook encouraging folks to sign up for the Pickens Plan.
If you are connected to a college or university in your state, can be a campus coordinator, or can help find a campus coordinator, please let me know so we can get the process rolling.
