- Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
- I teach high school at Bloom. I have won many grants for alternative energy projects and curriculum. I have a biodiesel bus in my science club. We make the fuel and are begining an Alternative Energy Education Outreach program. My high school kids will teach other kids about alternative energy. I have had 36 solar panels installed on my schools roof. I am including alternative energy in my curriculum.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- Everything. I love that it is grassroots and for the greater good. I am teaching this to local youth and I am working towards increasing awareness.
- What do you want to do to help?
- I can promote the plan when I do outreach at schools, colleges, Environmental fairs, and parades.

I am one of the welcome wagon crew. We are all volunteers. Out of sheer numbers I greet daily I have a paste and copy note.
It is not intended to overwhelm you, just give you a direction and some contacts. I do read every profile page.
We are a voluntary community of individuals who are placing our combined support behind T. Boone Pickens and his efforts to send our government a clear (heard) message that we must reduce our nation’s dependence on foreign oil through the use of all domestic energy alternatives. This site is a place to interact with fellow Pickens Plan supporters, keep up with events and opportunities to help get more involvement.
*************Please, I ask the first sites you visit to get accurate info and articles to see pretty much what the plan is about and where the plan stands, and please come back to these sites often as changes take place regularly. Some are long, please; take the time to get all the details.

There is a group for almost everything. The Forums/discussions on this site are many and you’ll probably find something that interests or concerns you. Some are very long and were started months ago. For the ones that concern you, please keep in mind, events are remembered and relayed differently by those commenting, which as we all too well know equals at least three sides to the event.
After you have read the sites I mentioned, if you need anything else to help you, while you help the push, please stop by. I am proud to put my efforts towards this cause.
