Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Maybe--But Not Sure What to Organize
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
I recently moved to Oklahoma and discovered a small movement to NGV's. I ready to pull the trigger and get me one, however, in order for me to get back to central Texas to visit family, I can not have a NGV vehicle. This is because there is no public place to re-fuel a NGV between Dallas and Austin. While I drive thru Dallas to get home, I do not go as far as Austin and may or may not have enough fuel to get me back to a Dallas location. What would it take to get a public location in Waco or the Temple/Killeen area? All it would take is one location in the area (half way between Dallas and Austin) on I-35. I believe this would help to boost the number of people that are willing to get them to travel around Texas, as well as, any locals that don't currently have easy access to a re-fueling station.
What excites you about this campaign?
I have been researching the benefits of NGV's for several months now and I am excited about the possibilites for the future. With the strength of Mr. Pickens, I believe a stronger infrastructure now has the possibility of getting put into place.
What do you want to do to help?
Whatever I can do to help, I'm willing to do.

Merry Christmas Jim,
This year I have helped so many members learn about personal home energy plans. It's all about power use, conservation, and home power generation, things I have been doing at my residence to lower my energy costs. Send me a friend request a to add me Jim, I'd be honored to have you as a friend here.
BTW, oklahoma: I just posted an article about Home Wind Systems in oklahoma. Your state's representatives, governor, and public utility commission officials are not in your corner with this "soft policy" on Net Metering. Instead they have the tables turned against green power for businesses and homeowners. You should read that article, important.

I have used the same systems save money on my electricity costs and Jim, you can too. Your local wind resources are so good in Oklahoma. Please see these windmaps at the link below and pinpoint what number your area is in. Zone 2 is OK, anything over 2 is (very) good. First double check your wind resources from the map and links below.
As we get mmore cars converted, the availablility of stations will increase. Here in the (CA) Coachella Valley, (Palm Springs, Pal Desert, Rancho Mirage, Indio, and otherrs - about 400,000 people, we have 8 stations - and there is at lesst one between here and San Diego, whre our kids live).
The idiotic feds need to change so that we can get to the cost in S. America.
