I have done a lot of research and experiements with hyrdorgen and other alternative fuels. I have networked with many people around the globe with similar ideas, interests and results.

What excites you about this campaign?

I am very excited that someone with the resorces and connections has come up with a very solid and doable plan. Granted its on the begining of what we can continue to accomplish with this country.

What do you want to do to help?

Harness The Power Of The Ocean

Many people dont look at or even know of this option but we can harness the power of the ocean lakes and rivers. We can accomplish this without damming up rivers and streams. A company call Marine Current Turbines uses some what like wind turbines underwater in fast current areas the amount of what can be seen above water is minimal and still allows for boats to pass by.

A Look Into The Way I Think About Energy

I don't believe that I have the same views on energy and what needs to happen as most of the people around but hey maybe I'm wrong. I look at the energy crisis as an immediate economic issue first and an environmental problem second. Here is why. So I got the communication people to list all the current Idaho groups on the list "find a group by state" that comes up on the main PickensPlan site. Before there were none, now there are six. We all should be getting better response now.
This letter is going out to all members of all the Idaho groups.
I am John Leigh, from Boise. Is anyone in Idaho doing anything to raise awareness of the plan? I have joined all the Idaho groups to try to be advised. Do we get together for talk sessions or to organize for a town hall visit by T. Boone? Do the Idaho groups communicate with each other?

I guess I'm asking Do we DO something or just sit and watch?

I have set up an email address that I hope becomes the Pickens Plan Idaho newsletter. All Groups and everybody interested can subscribe. I an based in Boise so that is my focus but we all should be aware of anything happening in Idaho (So we could discuss what to do about things like our Idaho groups NOT being on the list under Idaho.....took me 4ever to figure out who to talk to)
So if you want to be on the list just email PickensPlanBoise@cableone.net and you will recieve updates as I get info from around Idaho, and maybe we will have coffee someday and plan how to put Idaho on the world map.

It seems we agree that there is so much more positive potential for America that can be added to the Pickens Plan.

Please read my essay posted in my blog. It describes a vision about our next opportunity as a nation, providing transportation to the entire globe that is way beyond combusting oil, is faster, more convenient and extremely efficient.
