Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Maybe--But Not Sure What to Organize
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
When I was in undergrad in the mid 90’s before deciding to pursue a Chiropractic degree, I was looking for a way to get into the alternative energy field at the time. I worked for a group called Nebraska Citizen Action the summer of 1995 that went door to door providing information and collecting money to help get wind power legislation passed. Shortly after that time my energy was shifted to obtaining a Chiropractic degree. I practiced Chiropractic for three and a half years and for many reasons have put that career on the side burner for now. For the last three and a half years I have been working in residential and commercial construction as a skilled laborer and as a project manager. During the past few years I have been spending more of my free time studying sustainable building techniques and on and off grid solar and wind home/commercial applications.
What excites you about this campaign?
The thousands of skilled labor jobs that will be created and the possible salvation from a destroyed economy.
What do you want to do to help?
Whatever it takes to end the dependency on foreign oil. I would like to pursue a career that will help this movement gain more momentum.
