What excites you about this campaign?: Self interest of neighbors and friends to regain control of the energy supply. Self interest of Pickens to make a profit on an 'alternative energy' supply system in tandem with domestic supplies to wean USA off of importing energy. For this to work there has to be something more than an idea that this is good of the country. People are going to want to know what's in it for them in real terms. Friends and neighbors want to know that they can enjoy a lifestyle they've grown used to over the past 20 years. Folks I know want to understand and feel the difference in terms of reducing the cost of commuting and traveling, heating and cooling their homes, and keeping the price of food reasonable. While at the same time increasing their own personal wealth so they don't end up at the mercy of an underfunded state welfare system with an economy that is rapidly being swamped by by India, China and all of south east Asia and Asia.

What do you want to do to help?: In addition to working on the installation, construction, finance and engineering of a wind energy corridor. I'm willing to help sell the plan, locally through organizing events, community meetings and the like throughout San Diego, and to travel destinations.
I'm willing to meet with various organizations from builders groups to the Sierra Club and articulate the message.
I have a BS in Electrical Engineering and 16 years of construction experience. More than 25 years of project management experience. Of which the last eight years were for a manufacturer in San Diego, CA. I have a small but effective group of friends who are active in local and state politics who can provide guidance toward this effort.
