Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:

I'm a Mechanical Engineer Who appreciates the fact that oil is a finite resource. There are many things America needs to do to prepare for this. I drive a Prius and find it to be an engineering masterpiece. With improved battery technology it could free me from gasoline for the many short trips I make.

What excites you about this campaign?

It's long overdue and Mr. Pickens is to be commended for his foresight. Politicians and the media have done a miserable job of leadership, education and factual reporting.

What do you want to do to help?

I'm retired and would be able to make group presentations or such if material were available.

At 6:10pm on January 7, 2009, Dan Nippert said…: Hi, Illinois Congressional District 14 Pickens Plan Leader here (whew) and about three weeks ago I was appointed by Jeffrey Boeyink the Regional Leader for Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Kentucky to help T. Boone get 500 new supporters for each Congressional District which prompted this solicitation for your help.

WE NEED: First, Last names, e-mail or street address and Zip code. That’s it! No money, spam or anything else I am aware of. The goal is to present President –Elect Obama with 2 Million Plan supporters, up from the existing 1.4 million, to give the country an Energy Plan within the first 100 days in office, E-Mail them to me is the easiest way to do it at this point.
