Welcome to PP. So glad you are here. Please read my latest blog... it tells how to turn the pledge into a petition- everyone understands petitions. This is the help we need to build this army. We can not let this narrowing window of opportunity slip by. When will we ever get a chance like this to really effect change again? I hope you can help. If you get 100 signatures, let me know, it would an honor to invite you into the 100CLUB.

I was able to get 300+ in the first 4 days. It is an easy ask - Boone has done the hard work. Everyone wants to get off of foreign oil. We are creating a paradigm shift- a completely new way of thinking - about energy in this country. We need more support. ARE YOU IN?

EMAIL A LETTER TO YOUR REPRESENTATIVES
The creators of this site have given us the ability, with little effort, to send a letter to our Representatives in Washington and Governor, too. Please go to "THE PLEDGE" (at the very top of this page on the blue header). On the top of the pledge page there are three rectangular buttons- two blue, and ONE RED BUTTON, that reads "CONTACT CONGRESS". Fill in the short, standard form. Done!

DOWNLOAD AND PRINT THE PLEDGE
Carry some copies with you and get as many as you can signed and faxed back to Boone. This is how we build our numbers fast! Be a part of the "100 CLUB" by faxing in 100 signed pledges. Let me know when you are done and I will add you to that growing list! I am a member! If you need ideas on how to reach this worthy goal, please ask me!

BRING 5 FOLKS TO JOIN
The more members we have the bigger our voice to Congress! With enough members, they will finally have to listen to us, instead of the lobbyists and special interests, who will certainly try to derail this historic effort. If you bring 5 members and THEY bring 5 members… well you can do the math!

ASK OUR PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES FOR THEIR PLAN
Check out Pickens "What’s Your Plan?" petition – let’s find out what exactly each candidate has in mind!

PERSONAL ACTION OPTIONS
We need to do more than “preach to the choir”. Sharing ideas with each other is encouraging but that will not 1) increase our membership nor 2) influence public policy. If you know someone in the press or someone who blogs - get them to cover this. Ask those in the public eye to support this plan.

A GROUP FOR EVERYONE
Check out the many groups for Solar, CNG, your area, etc. Connect, learn and share. We grow stronger with your input. If you don't see a group that speaks to your interest, then start a group of your own. Born leader or organizer? If you are ready to lead, check out the “Organizers and Leaders: Start Here” group on the Groups page.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST
We can always use new, fresh Welcome Wagon “drivers”! It is important that we greet each new member of Pickens Plan (as I am doing now to you!) and let him or her know what can be done immediately. If you have some free time during the day, let me know and I will send you explicit instructions! They are also on the blog on my page.

THERE IS NO TIME TO DELAY
…to wait and see…or to see if someone else will step up to the plate. It is time for US to roll up our sleeves and go to work. Right now momentum is working in our favor, but if gas prices retreat, the public will forget the pain, and our moment may be lost. Now is our chance to be a part of the solution!PLEASE feel free to FRIEND ME so we can keep in touch and share ideas!

YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THE PLEDGE on the main page. Print out 10 or more of them, get them signed and fax them back ASAP. When we are millions strong, we can achieve this. We have 100 club for Pledges try to get 10 a day for 10 days If you like.

It is stupid to continue to send 700 BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR to countries who may or may not be our enemies. We don't need money, we need members. We need 1 million members by election to show our leaders we are serious., so please help us by getting others to join. Check out the groups (click on groups at the top of your page.) and join those you like. Read profiles and add friends. You may add me as a friend if you like. I have a group that I send messages to from time to time. if I think helpful. We are non-partisian, because both canidates espouse some of what we are fighting for.
