J. Jay, we are also looking at Methane Digestion and possible electric generation. We have considered stationary hydrogen fuel stations though instead of combustion due to the availability of clean water as a viable by-product. If I can be of any ...

Hello Jeff, Have considered the biomass conversion to oil, aka, biodiesel as a possible fuel outlet. The point is - unless we do the methane through hydrogen fuel cell electricity generation, we do not have any CO2 for pumping the algae. Not sure ...

Hello Karl, Robert. Interested in your overall discussion. During the second stage of our converting a rural Texas 3 pond plus irrigation sewage treatment into an alternative energy fuel production plant we are looking at the production of Methane...

Hi James, Anything that sounds too good to be true, usually is. My experience is that nothing every really gets funded in 35 days, especially at this amount. But we can always think its true! :-) My project list is now starting to look at 100kW o...

I agree that solar concentration technology is quite viable if the DNI (Direct Normal Incidence ratio) is on the order of 6.5 or higher. Unfortunately many locations (such as the one I am looking at in Central Texas) does not meet the criteria. We...

Thanks, it looks like we will produce enough sodium hydroxide in solution that we can make bleach on site with the Chlorine. This addresses multiple liability issues, transporation issues and actually reduces the Chlorine quality necessary. Otherw...

Nice John, I really enjoyed our phone conversation the other day. I like what you are doing, it is excellent. I really thank you for the other info too. I knew I was stuck, but need an outside perspective, someone who had made it past where I am. ...

John, no we have not been in the hydrogen aspect of the market at this time. All our capture has been for co-gen applications or pipeline depending on run. Our plasma syngas is applicable for hydrogen cells, Would be interested in using methane for fuel cells.

I am very interested in setting up a clean energy / natural gas truckstop
and maybe a warehouse and ministorage
on my property at the intersection of I 70 and I 77 in Ohio.
It would be fine for regular trucks too.
This could be a good place to produce clean, green fuels, showcase the technology, retrofit vehicles for natural gas, etc.
We have natural gas on site.
The freeways go all 4 directions across the United States.
We are within 2 hours drive of several large cities,
and waste is available locally.
This would also be an excellent location to green technology.
Who do I talk to, where can I start?
Let me know any ideas you might have
Thanks,
Shon D. Lenzo

Hello All,
Just curious as to if you feel we are accomplishing anything here in our district. I had signed up a few months ago when I returned from Europe, but overall interactions and meetings with people in the area has been basically non-existentent. I guess the enthusiam has died out since Pickens is no longer pushing as hard, but what about everyone else? Windfarms are still being built and Texas still needs to move forward with good legislation and building smarter transmission lines.

Regards,
John

Hi John, Here is a tool for all of us to get RE projects started through a recommendation for a new program of US Treasury "Energy Independence Savings Bonds". Savings bonds are normally purchased in $25 increments. This gives a way for just about any American to tighten their belts just a bit by skipping a meal at McDonalds or Pizza Hut and buying a renewable energy, RE, savings bond to support a project and save money at the same time for themselves. The plan is to have a minimum of categories for S-Solar, W-Wind, C-COOP. A purchaser would get on the US Treasury web site and purchase one that is for a project that he/she would like to support via credit card or PAYPAL. A different tab would allow tracking of the projects and transparency in accounting as President Obama has promised we will have in his administration. I've faxed and emailed my representative in Congress already and have a copy of a FAX sent to Nancy Pelosi on my Pickens blog along with more details. On my web page is a link for a new group that was started today called “Energy Independence US Treasury Savings Bonds” Please do not hesitate joining the “my friends” on my PickensPlan web page as well if you like this Energy Independence plan. My email is ke6cvh@yahoo.com.

Welcome!
I am one of the welcome wagon crew. We are all volunteers. Out of sheer numbers I greet daily I have a paste and copy note.
It is not intended to overwhelm you, just give you a direction and some contacts. I do read every profile page.
We are a voluntary community of individuals who are placing our combined support behind T. Boone Pickens and his efforts to send our government a clear (heard) message that we must reduce our nation’s dependence on foreign oil through the use of all domestic energy alternatives. This site is a place to interact with fellow Pickens Plan supporters, keep up with events and opportunities to help get more involvement.
*************Please, I ask the first sites you visit to get accurate info and articles to see pretty much what the plan is about and where the plan stands, and please come back to these sites often as changes take place regularly. Some are long, please; take the time to get all the details.
On the home page, click on About The Plan ~ Boone Cam ~ Blog - You’ll see the Pie-graph Mechanics.
Our future is focus 1- at this point in time! If not now, When? If not you, WHO?
Mr. Obama has voiced that eliminating the dependence of foreign oil is a top priority.
[Click here], to enter your zip code and be paired up with members in your area. If you’re like me I do better working with some like friends. If you want to be a leader for your area, you can also sign up on that page.
For our members in other countries [Click here ], to link to the International group.
There is a group for almost everything. The Forums/discussions on this site are many and you’ll probably find something that interests or concerns you. Some are very long and were started months ago. For the ones that concern you, please keep in mind, events are remembered and relayed differently by those commenting, which as we all too well know equals at least three sides to the event.
After you have read the sites I mentioned, if you need anything else to help you, while you help the push, please stop by. I am proud to put my efforts towards this cause.
Again, Welcome; Tom
