This Group explores scenarios whereby the industry could be restructured with minimal disruption and maximum effect and suggest a basic business plan and framework going forward. Oil and auto sectors must make this transition. Can we do it together?

Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Yes
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
No definitive Alt. Energy experience but growing fast. I run manufacturing facilities (injection molding) supplying Automotive sector. Understand transportation (diesel fuel) and logistics costs associated with transporting large/bulky parts to the end users. Involved with business start ups whereby core model is placing injection molding machines onto "end users" manufacturing floor to eliminate waste of transportation in the automotive supply chain.

Have a friend at NextEnergy in Michigan. NE is an alternative energy "think tank" with laboratories and research facilities here in Michigan. NE is partially chartered to assist the existing automotive manufacturing infrastructure with transitioning their operations/technologies over to Wind (and other) generation. Another friend...(transplanted European) represents a foundry the Netherlands with a worldwide footprint capable of making the large castings associated with the "hub" assembly.

So....I'm learning....
What excites you about this campaign?
The prospect of curtailing and ultimately ending the huge transfer of wealth out of this country. I am from Michigan which (as we all know) is experiencing an economic depression and would love to see our Industrial and Manufacturing base migrate into, and benefit from, the $350 Billion industry being created.
What do you want to do to help?
In the middle of business start-ups...what do you need me to do?

Good points, John.

The question is, how do we focus the Army like a laser on the right Legislative initiatives? And with the same intensity, how do we focus on the economic incentives to attract investors?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Hi John:

'Found you on Richards page. Your comments are on point.

Our country has the technological anwers and the capabilities to make our turn-around very possible. The Washington-Wall Street bailout fiasco concerns me greatly for gaining the non-equity guarenteed capital investment required to the many viable answers of our inventors and our manufacturing survival.

We can save Detroit. The HEV is the focus, but there are other answers, such the silent, highly efficent, any-fuel Opus true rotary piston engine. This, like other systems are ready and tested. This type of power plant can be used in an HEV, compact car or an SUV, big trucks, CATs, locomotives and ships.

I work with both; the HARTH technology (fast ships and boats) and the Opus. Detroit adopting a power plant such as Opus would mean that such a power plant installed in any vehical will not be obsoleted due to a fuel change in the distribution system - anywhere in the world. While these engines can efficiently burn Hydrogen, methane or acetylene, they also can burn keroscene, diesel products, methanol, bio-fuels and even coal-dust. They eliminate the need for any transmission, produces very high torque, have only seven moving parts, never requires a lubricant and can be dissasemble by one man with one Alan wrench.

Detroit could lead the world again, but many of the old ways of thinking will have to be washed from auto-maker's management.

You have a great day,
Walter

Hi John

Hope ou can help with the pledge push. We must build this army to really achieve the shift of the paradigm of thought on energy in this country. When will we ever have a golden opportunity like this again? ARE YOU IN?

Best
Kim
