Tax is a charge on a persons income and/or property. Businesses don't pay taxes, consumers do. Someone always pays, the real question is how much is enough. Many believe we are already paying more than enough---and some believe it is best left to U…

Taxes are necessary, but they have become excessive and punitive in our beloved country. Excessive taxation is strangling our economy and causing our business people to take production overseas. Our forefathers came to America because of taxation w…

Profile Information

Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Yes
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
No first hand experience as yet but see the necessity to get changes underway without further delay. Have been involved around the home, replacing heating/air, new refrigerator, new evaporative cooler, energy saving light bulbs.etc. Expect to eventually purchase a hybrid auto. My major experience with alternative energy has been at the gas pump .recognizing the need for change.
What excites you about this campaign?
Knowing that Americans in large number want to take control back in the areas of energy and manufacturing. We no longer have 35 years to waste on studies. Mr. Pickens has come up with a great starting plan. This plan should benefit us in many, many ways. For the first time since the oil embargo I think we will get it done ....Thank You Mr. Pickens....We have talent, creativity, energy, and because we are Americans, we never give up! This is a great opportunity for each of us to help in writing history!
What do you want to do to help?
Would be happy to make phone calls, circulate literature and help in any way that I can. Would like to recruit lots of people, because large numbers are needed most at this point. No job is too large or too small, and I feel honored and privileged to work with this Army in any way that will promote our growth and get us off foreign oil.

Notice to Entrepreneurs in the New Energy Economy:
ADVANCED-ENERGY BUSINESS INCUBATOR IN WARREN, OHIO

When I appeared on the Green Revolution Show (Wed-25-Nov-2009) I described the Youngstown-Warren Ohio region (in NE Ohio and W Pennsylvania) is a hotbed for Green Energy technology and business opportunity.

The Youngstown Business Journal published this article (Copyright 2009 The Business Journal, Youngstown, Ohio) which can be read on the OH-17 District Group Page.

NorTech to Help Launch Warren Incubator
-- 12/15/2009

By Dennis LaRue
WARREN, Ohio -- Possessed of a vision and fortified with $2.7 million in federal and state grants and another $1.7 million in private funding, a steering committee of 26 will, over the next 10 months, work toward the birth of an advanced-energy business incubator downtown.

Midwife to this birth is Rebecca O. Bagley, president and CEO of NorTech, a consulting firm based in downtown Cleveland whose tagline is “Growing Northeast Ohio’s High Tech Economy.”

Bagley, U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan, D-17 Ohio, state Sen. Capri Cafaro, D-32 Hubbard, state Rep. Tom Letson, D-64 Warren, and Mayor Michael O’Brien, outlined their vision Monday of what such an incubator might achieve in the fields of “advanced energy and flexible materials.”

Long on optimism and short on specifics, the four expressed hope the incubator will rejuvenate manufacturing in Mahoning Valley through infant enterprises that one day produce parts for windmills, geothermal, solar and nuclear energy plants and sources of energy other than petroleum, coal and natural gas.

“Four hundred tons of steel go into a windmill,” Ryan noted.

Bagley offered a number of people she expects would be employed in the incubator -- “50 to 70 jobs” – rather the number of companies that would be housed there.

John,

I was the regional leader for Connecticut. I'm sorry but I don't have time. I'm a 56 year old retired stockbroker who is back in school getting my bachelors degree and hoping to go to law school. In fact took my LSAT last weekend. I have one more semester in undergrad. So good luck with what ever you're trying to do, but I have to much on my plate already.

Tony
